Poor Lily, a victim of DW having very little idea of what they were doing early on and being paranoid about giving a free SR. I do know of at least one person who has her grailed to 98. which is very useful during this event.
I have a person with lvl 98 lily too on my friend's list. IGN was Cutrang or something like that. The moment I saw the grailed lily I knew I had to add him, he's been my friend since a month or two after starting the game lol.

I'm a very proud owner of a beautiful Artoria Pendragon (Lily) at level 80, Fous and high level skills. I like her design a lot, the voice she has and her art is one of my favorites in the game. But, that aside, I agree with you almost completely. The reason being in my book, generally speaking, there are 4 types of servants in this game: The ones who are broken, the ones who are plain good, the ones who are useful and the ones who are just plain bad gameplay wise designed. To me, Saber Lily exist in the 3rd category, why? Because there are other servants who just don't even have skills like "Mana Burst" or "Journey of the Flowers EX". You can use these skills, like you said, only with the proper team composition. Aside from that, of course it will be difficult to use her, which brings me to my main point and that is just my humble opinion and hope at least this helps somebody. Just for anyone who reads it: don't take it personal, it's not. The first category that I mentioned before, you can rename it: "Easy game (most of the time)", the second: "Challenging game (most of the time)", the third: "Hard game (most of the time)" and the fourth: "Painful game (most of the time)". The thing is, this game can be fun for a lot of reasons, one being: "Want to make it a little more difficult (aka fun for some people)? Don't go anywhere, just use low (gameplay wise) tier units" and that's it. So, yeah, "There is no bad servant" kind of applies here. I'm not saying "the lower tier: the better" or anything like that, just wanted to say that not using "low tier units" or servants don't make the Master (aka the Player) better in any shape or form. Before I leave it here, I wanted to say three more things. One: yeah, even "godlike tier units" requires strategy and in some cases can be the same level of challenging as the "low tier" ones in a few specific scenarios only. Two: remind you, people: "Play the servants you like and don't stress out with the metagame" is still the best advice anyone like me can offer to both newer and older players alike. Finally: if you, who reads this, find all of just some of it helpful, share it (with your own words if you like it better) with others. To me, Fate Grand Order was made with the same fundamental idea like any other game: "Have fun with it." PS: Even with all the above, I personally find your videos very useful and enjoy them. The only thing, I take them as a privilege and a piece of information more than a rule set in stone, especially because I think that's the true meaning of it.
I agree with you. I am currently enjoying the game by using "trash" servants who get bullied a lot, like lily, stheno, and gilles saber. They are not really useless, they just need the right teammates (or in gilles' case, babysitters lol). It is fun experimenting with team builds for them. And I am so happy that there is the saber wars event that gives lily and gilles a time to shine. If only I do not care about efficiency, I would use the tank team I built around gilles saber to farm the scathach node. But that team has only gilles as saber, and the points I'd get from that are really low, so I had to use the full saber team instead. Luckily, in those teams, lily can clear waves like it's nothing, and her 3rd skill makes np charging faster for the whole team, making okita even deadlier than she already is. Also, her first skill saved me in those times when I just do not have enough stars to give okita a decent chance of critting. That, combined with okita's star gathering skill and crit up skill and caesar's charisma and crit up skills, has saved me tons of times where landing crits is the deciding factor whether I'll win or lose. And even more than that... I just wanted to protect their smiles.
Cu Bro, Andersen Bro y Mashu saved my ass too many times in Orleans and Septem, i love them. I have an Artoria Vanilla and i love her, every guide say Tier B or C, fck off with that.
@@thegamerfe8751 well there are a lot of male in the game, so chances are pretty high you will be facing them. this is not like mordred, where her bonus damage is against arthurs. although mordred is still better since she is a 5 star. if instant death doesn't work, stheno still has 2 charms, can drain NP or remove buffs. so pretty handy in a fight
It's a shame that the buffs that she gets during Saber Wars doesn't carry after the event is over cause during this event she is pretty good. Maybe in the far future after her 'training' is over she may get another character in general (Saber Lily Alter?) or even strengthening quests for her skills.
You honestly need to rate servant cuteness in all reviews and have that affect the scoring system. You can't deny aesthetics are important. "Lily is super cute so she gets an A".
I am literally stuck using her because I need a second AOE Saber NP to clear the current Lancer stage for the Da Vinci Event and she's all I have. :< If she was a 3 star she'd be much better if only because she'd be a Budget Arturia which wouldn't be bad.
She has the same problem of OG Saber kit wise (actually even worse), but with basically half the stats, and grailing doesn't help cause she starts with 3* stats, but at 4* max level, so she has 10 less levels of stat gain... She's the cutest crotchbuster thou... I ask for anti-male buff NP interlude!
Thanks to a combination of her free NP5, an increased NP Damage Modifier, and an upgraded NP, Saber Lily has higher NP damage than an NP5 Fergus and than any NP1 Gold AoE Saber. While her kit is completely garbage outside of that, that factor alone makes her valuable at farming and worth raising gameplay-wise. I've been playing for over a year, but with my gold AoE Saber cast being comprised of Shiki, Arturia Alter, Gawain and Suzuka (all at NP1), Arturia Lily will be a valuable resource even for a seasoned (F2P) account like mine. So just because she's not as good as some of the top welfares, she's still totally worth getting and raising. Unfortunately, her NP Buff came just a few months after this video, so Sober Oni reviewed her pre-buff status that was much worse because her one good attribute wasn't there yet.

It's so hard to come by decent Sabers as a free to play player, so I'm looking really forward to getting her in the Saber Wars rerun. My expectations are low but I hope she's at least around Caesar's level.

I remember when I got into the game Mash was doing more damage than Lily. A 3* tank outperformed a 4* attacker. But she's precious af, so I'll level her anyways.
Sorry for necroing a year old video but i'd like to add something and ask something! She's bad because she just started out on her path to become a king. if DW ever made a servant correctly, true to the lores and what not it's saber lily. she just drew caliburn, partied up with sir kay and merlin, and she went around helping people and training to become much stronger and become a strong king. "as fresh as a lily" to quote the description. all in all her stats, skills really well depicted what artoria in her early days was like. everybody has to start somewhere dont they? But as a man culture, the rule to follow is always "cute triumphs." and even more so in the case of saber lily. my hat goes off to people who have max grailed max fou'd her. you sirs are the true embodiment of culture. I agree, she was good to have at the game's release before I summoned anyone good, but the second I got Nero, Lily was booted from my lineup. She is definitely super cute tho, and definitely worth a spot on my cosplan list.

I find she can be a good Crit buster hitter if you use the Anniversary Blonde master skills, Brynhild and waver support, then a 2030 to help out(if you have one). Either or ill still use her, and for more reasons then "Waifu"

The best servants have good skills and good stats. The devs need to fix every character so they reach this level. That said good stats can save a character with bad skills, and good skills can save a character with bad stats, but bad stats and bad skills make a servant bad and the devs need to fix every single servant in this category by fixing both their stats and their skills.
With many people saying that she's essentially a 3⭐️ she was added to that FP gacha and with NA years behind JP, I got her a few days ago and tbh I agree that compared to her peers in the saber class... She doesn't hold very well. But at least she's cute☺️
Saber Lily is a 3* servant with a gold border. That means she has been grailed by default. If you max grail and max fou her, Lily’s NP5 (by default) out damage every NP1 saber up to Yagyu. While her HP of 14,880 is nothing to sneeze at.
I ask a Twitter friend about his Friend code so, I could use his servant and saw his Saber was Platinum Garbage ad max level and the sad part is, that's his best Saber (luckily he got UMU to replace her)

As a Lily, she's a younger version of Artoria's regular variations, right? A form that was summoned young and inexperienced. Which makes me draw the conclusion that she is stuck fighting in a form where her potential is out of reach.
They probably should've made Saber Lily more of a Support Saber to make her stand out amongst her many Saber variants. OG Saber is Tanky, Saber Alter has less HP but more damage output, etc. They should've given Lily various better stat buff skills and healing skills to make up for her lacking stats if anything at all.
Lancer Alter I’m sure she is, she just isn’t to me. I’ll just use an actual archer if I want to fight sabers which I have plenty of. Her skillset is decent for what she’s trying to accomplish but overall she doesn’t impress me. There are much better servants I’d rather get ( and like more). And don’t just lump me with everyone else like that as if you know me please :p
I havn't used her like; at all outside of this Saber Wars event. When I got her; I already had Liz and Tamamo Cat; so I didn't really have the space for her on any teams because of being a low level. And honestly I never looked at her when I did have space because it got taken up with better servants or craft essences. I might keep her in a party of free servants.
Dont have any other gold servant and actually pairs decently well with tamamo waver/ hans waver team for np gain and spam. Her damage isnt the greatest but since she has two arts cards, she can pair well with other arts servants most of the time from what I have seen.

How long have you played and have you been using your free daily fp summon because that sounds statistically impossible if you've been playing longer than a week? getting 3 stars on the fp is not that common and there are quite a few 1 and 2 stars.
Been playing for about 2-3 weeks, free summon everyday. I've simply gotten about 8 Fergus without a single Faber. And there aren't any 1-2 star sabers in the game
Man people say shes bad but that cause she dont have her guiding caster memelin ;) shes not cq lvl good but her dmg is good enough to clear waves of lancers.
For those exact reasons, he buffs everything, so mentioning him is redundant you should assume he is a great support for everyone lol. I actually gave Merlin the highest grade Ive ever given
I feel like she would be a bit better if her intuition was replaced with charisma and if her journey of the flowers also gave all allies a certain amount of np gauge as well as increased np gain. Just my opinion tho.

Again I want to say I really hopes JP rerun Saber Wars so I can get her - for love! It's really sad to see DW made her this bad. Back when she was first introduced to the Nasuverse her popularity was on equal level with OG Saber and Salter - DW could've really made her an awesome servant with different strong points to those of Salter and OG Saber... she has already been updated i think. her NP went from B to B+, which only gives her a bit more damage and increase her heal by 1000. still not a very good servant to use in serious battles
@@uteriel282 i think they should just focus on her healing ability, make the NP to all parties instead of only to herself. also upgrade 1 of her skills to include a party wide healing. avalon is suppose to be artoria's trump card which can heal, restore mana as well as shield her from attacks, but there are no artoria who even have an NP or a skill based on that. maybe they should make a saber who has avalon as her NP, can apply invisibility and evade, as well as heal with her NP and 1 of her skills
D'Eon was the servant that I rolled in the tutorial so I rarely used Lily but I guess she's ok early game. Such a shame she's the worst 4* but she definitely is cute!
Hey can someone rate my team please I never had a problem with them but experts at this game say some of them aren't that good. Also I beat the London chapter relatively with out a problem. Saber: Artoria pendragon:lv60 Archer: Shirou Emiya:lv 55 (finished his noble phantasm buff quest) lancer:Dairmuid:max lv (my weakest servant hoping to replace him soon) Rider:Santa Alter :lv 60 Assassin:Stheno:lv 58(might replace her with emiya assassin) Caster:Cu (max lv plan to holy grail him soon to lv 80 max because he is suprsingly decent) Berserker:Heracles:lv60 Rider2:Marie Antoinette:lv58 Archer2:Oda Nobunaga:lv 70(dont have the last golden skull :( though plan to save her until the event rerun comes out) Saber2: Nero Claduis:lv 40(just got her last night) Any advice or response would help thanks on how good that team is what to keep replace or is good enough and who to consider adding.
Rate is something a little well not really necessary since the game pretty much can be complete with any team, just in the chapter Camelot, maybe Babylonia and the challenge quest that came wayyyy later is when one has to think better in the team comp, now about the Servant i will give my own opinion: 1) Arturia is regular, people often talk about her for farming 2) Emiya is regular now but with a later Buff he is better 3) Diarmud, honestly don't do much, his most outstanding role is vs womens servant and that is better after a buff 4) Santa Alter is ok for farming and it hurts when she crits, also her Heal is useful 5) Stheno just do things when there is a male servant, in that situacion she is useful but all the remaining time she isn't better that others Assasins 6) Cu Caster is ok, just with Protection of Arrows he will live long to spam is NP 7) Heracles is just fucking broken XD 8) Marie is one of the better tanks in the game and can do support job 9) Oda Nobunaga or Nobu is just the best free servant for crits, anti-divine and good farmin, with her 3 Skill, a servant star generator and a good CE She can hit you so hard with crits that you will be question "....Were the HP go?", and finally 10) Nero, she is one of the best "solo" in the game because like can live long and long with her heals and her revive of 3 uses Advice?, Firts you can complete most of the history with one 4 or 5 Star so don't worry much about that, Second use the Servant that you want to use and have fun, Third personally i invite you to try some of the 3, 2 and 1 Star Servants they are pretty more useful and interesting that most people think, i recommend -> Cu Chulian Lancer if you want train a new lancer that is just soo good to have 3 Stars -> Eurayle if you want a 3 star that with propers buff can one shot a boss male servant (or do severe damage to not male servant) -> Georgios if you want a tank with a skill that can recieve al the damaege for you in 3 turn if he can live -> Hans Charlie Anderson is you want a support with buff to damage, defende and heal in a NP that can be easily spam, also he have star and crit damage up! ->And finally but no less, my fluffy boy and cinnamon roll Asterios, a Berseker with 1 Star, what is special about him?, not less that a NP with such defuff in attack and defense to the whole enemy party that Tesla from London hit me with his NP and Asterios a BERSERKER with just his defense buff recieve 0 DAMAGE! jajjaa i always laugh with that And are many others really good 3, 2, 1 Star so tray them if you want
Jared Walker Replace Dairmuid with the 3 star lancer Cu. Also you can replace Emiya Archer with Nobu Archer to maximize damage. Stheno or Cursed arm Hassan are your best bets if you don't have Jack. Hassan has better star generation, but stheno has more health. Both have 3 quick cards so you can quick chain....but Hassan's np is a lot better. Focus on leveling Heracles since he's arguably the very best berserker in the game until berserker Cu comes out, and possibly even then with his Bond CE. So you want to prioritize leveling him.

As I watched on your videos, both Altera and Arturia has one useless skill, one of them is np strength and the other is gain c. stars. Which do you think is better?
Actually she is somehow worse than him , at least he after the interludes and in team with St. George can dish out some crazy damage and has more HP and a lot of 5* servants ( at level 100 he has 17k before fou cards )

She has the same problem of OG Saber kit wise (actually even worse), but with basically half the stats, and grailing doesn't help cause she starts with 3* stats, but at 4* max level, so she has 10 less levels of stat gain... She's the cutest crotchbuster thou... I ask for anti-male buff NP interlude!

Thanks to a combination of her free NP5, an increased NP Damage Modifier, and an upgraded NP, Saber Lily has higher NP damage than an NP5 Fergus and than any NP1 Gold AoE Saber.
While her kit is completely garbage outside of that, that factor alone makes her valuable at farming and worth raising gameplay-wise.
I've been playing for over a year, but with my gold AoE Saber cast being comprised of Shiki, Arturia Alter, Gawain and Suzuka (all at NP1), Arturia Lily will be a valuable resource even for a seasoned (F2P) account like mine. So just because she's not as good as some of the top welfares, she's still totally worth getting and raising.
Unfortunately, her NP Buff came just a few months after this video, so Sober Oni reviewed her pre-buff status that was much worse because her one good attribute wasn't there yet.

It's so hard to come by decent Sabers as a free to play player, so I'm looking really forward to getting her in the Saber Wars rerun. My expectations are low but I hope she's at least around Caesar's level.

She's bad because she just started out on her path to become a king. if DW ever made a servant correctly, true to the lores and what not it's saber lily. she just drew caliburn, partied up with sir kay and merlin, and she went around helping people and training to become much stronger and become a strong king. "as fresh as a lily" to quote the description. all in all her stats, skills really well depicted what artoria in her early days was like. everybody has to start somewhere dont they?
But as a man culture, the rule to follow is always "cute triumphs." and even more so in the case of saber lily. my hat goes off to people who have max grailed max fou'd her. you sirs are the true embodiment of culture.

I agree, she was good to have at the game's release before I summoned anyone good, but the second I got Nero, Lily was booted from my lineup. She is definitely super cute tho, and definitely worth a spot on my cosplan list.

I find she can be a good Crit buster hitter if you use the Anniversary Blonde master skills, Brynhild and waver support, then a 2030 to help out(if you have one). Either or ill still use her, and for more reasons then "Waifu"

The best servants have good skills and good stats. The devs need to fix every character so they reach this level. That said good stats can save a character with bad skills, and good skills can save a character with bad stats, but bad stats and bad skills make a servant bad and the devs need to fix every single servant in this category by fixing both their stats and their skills.

With many people saying that she's essentially a 3⭐️ she was added to that FP gacha and with NA years behind JP, I got her a few days ago and tbh I agree that compared to her peers in the saber class... She doesn't hold very well. But at least she's cute☺️
Saber Lily is a 3* servant with a gold border. That means she has been grailed by default.
If you max grail and max fou her, Lily’s NP5 (by default) out damage every NP1 saber up to Yagyu. While her HP of 14,880 is nothing to sneeze at.
I ask a Twitter friend about his Friend code so, I could use his servant and saw his Saber was Platinum Garbage ad max level and the sad part is, that's his best Saber (luckily he got UMU to replace her)

As a Lily, she's a younger version of Artoria's regular variations, right? A form that was summoned young and inexperienced.
Which makes me draw the conclusion that she is stuck fighting in a form where her potential is out of reach.
They probably should've made Saber Lily more of a Support Saber to make her stand out amongst her many Saber variants. OG Saber is Tanky, Saber Alter has less HP but more damage output, etc. They should've given Lily various better stat buff skills and healing skills to make up for her lacking stats if anything at all.

Lancer Alter I’m sure she is, she just isn’t to me. I’ll just use an actual archer if I want to fight sabers which I have plenty of. Her skillset is decent for what she’s trying to accomplish but overall she doesn’t impress me. There are much better servants I’d rather get ( and like more). And don’t just lump me with everyone else like that as if you know me please :p

I havn't used her like; at all outside of this Saber Wars event. When I got her; I already had Liz and Tamamo Cat; so I didn't really have the space for her on any teams because of being a low level. And honestly I never looked at her when I did have space because it got taken up with better servants or craft essences. I might keep her in a party of free servants.
Dont have any other gold servant and actually pairs decently well with tamamo waver/ hans waver team for np gain and spam. Her damage isnt the greatest but since she has two arts cards, she can pair well with other arts servants most of the time from what I have seen.

How long have you played and have you been using your free daily fp summon because that sounds statistically impossible if you've been playing longer than a week? getting 3 stars on the fp is not that common and there are quite a few 1 and 2 stars.
Been playing for about 2-3 weeks, free summon everyday. I've simply gotten about 8 Fergus without a single Faber. And there aren't any 1-2 star sabers in the game

I feel like she would be a bit better if her intuition was replaced with charisma and if her journey of the flowers also gave all allies a certain amount of np gauge as well as increased np gain. Just my opinion tho.

It's really sad to see DW made her this bad. Back when she was first introduced to the Nasuverse her popularity was on equal level with OG Saber and Salter - DW could've really made her an awesome servant with different strong points to those of Salter and OG Saber...

she has already been updated i think. her NP went from B to B+, which only gives her a bit more damage and increase her heal by 1000. still not a very good servant to use in serious battles

@@uteriel282 i think they should just focus on her healing ability, make the NP to all parties instead of only to herself. also upgrade 1 of her skills to include a party wide healing. avalon is suppose to be artoria's trump card which can heal, restore mana as well as shield her from attacks, but there are no artoria who even have an NP or a skill based on that. maybe they should make a saber who has avalon as her NP, can apply invisibility and evade, as well as heal with her NP and 1 of her skills

Rate is something a little well not really necessary since the game pretty much can be complete with any team, just in the chapter Camelot, maybe Babylonia and the challenge quest that came wayyyy later is when one has to think better in the team comp, now about the Servant i will give my own opinion:
1) Arturia is regular, people often talk about her for farming
2) Emiya is regular now but with a later Buff he is better
3) Diarmud, honestly don't do much, his most outstanding role is vs womens servant and that is better after a buff
4) Santa Alter is ok for farming and it hurts when she crits, also her Heal is useful
5) Stheno just do things when there is a male servant, in that situacion she is useful but all the remaining time she isn't better that others Assasins
6) Cu Caster is ok, just with Protection of Arrows he will live long to spam is NP
7) Heracles is just fucking broken XD
8) Marie is one of the better tanks in the game and can do support job
9) Oda Nobunaga or Nobu is just the best free servant for crits, anti-divine and good farmin, with her 3 Skill, a servant star generator and a good CE She can hit you so hard with crits that you will be question "....Were the HP go?", and finally
10) Nero, she is one of the best "solo" in the game because like can live long and long with her heals and her revive of 3 uses
Advice?, Firts you can complete most of the history with one 4 or 5 Star so don't worry much about that, Second use the Servant that you want to use and have fun, Third personally i invite you to try some of the 3, 2 and 1 Star Servants they are pretty more useful and interesting that most people think, i recommend
-> Cu Chulian Lancer if you want train a new lancer that is just soo good to have 3 Stars
-> Eurayle if you want a 3 star that with propers buff can one shot a boss male servant (or do severe damage to not male servant)
-> Georgios if you want a tank with a skill that can recieve al the damaege for you in 3 turn if he can live
-> Hans Charlie Anderson is you want a support with buff to damage, defende and heal in a NP that can be easily spam, also he have star and crit damage up!
->And finally but no less, my fluffy boy and cinnamon roll Asterios, a Berseker with 1 Star, what is special about him?, not less that a NP with such defuff in attack and defense to the whole enemy party that Tesla from London hit me with his NP and Asterios a BERSERKER with just his defense buff recieve 0 DAMAGE! jajjaa i always laugh with that
And are many others really good 3, 2, 1 Star so tray them if you want
Just remove stheno. She's fucking useless. Her np can't even kill a male servant
Jared Walker Replace Dairmuid with the 3 star lancer Cu. Also you can replace Emiya Archer with Nobu Archer to maximize damage. Stheno or Cursed arm Hassan are your best bets if you don't have Jack. Hassan has better star generation, but stheno has more health. Both have 3 quick cards so you can quick chain....but Hassan's np is a lot better.
Focus on leveling Heracles since he's arguably the very best berserker in the game until berserker Cu comes out, and possibly even then with his Bond CE. So you want to prioritize leveling him.

Actually she is somehow worse than him , at least he after the interludes and in team with St. George can dish out some crazy damage and has more HP and a lot of 5* servants ( at level 100 he has 17k before fou cards )
