These are the most beautiful headlights i have ever seen! I would never be able to afford this especially with my diagnosis but still a beautiful set of headlights!

They forgot to mention that you need to adjust them since they are both out of alignment, and when I say out of alignment I meant 4-6” off from each other in 5’ distance so if you go to the recommended 25’ your turning off the city pole lights, thats not fine tuning like on the instructions, lol thats pretty much bottoming out the adjustment screw to be close to factory, now the light output is a night and day difference, my oem where HID’s and they are just as bad as homogenous on oem headlights, $1700 plus tax for headlights and fogs (wrong connector on fogs with no option to choose connector type 2018 oem was 8058 connector, morimoto connector came with 5202)are justified by the difference in light output

Came across some missing directions for my 17.
1. Forgot to mention when removing the engine cover, you need to pop the brackets out across the top portion of the grill.
2. Once all bolts are removed and you are ready to pop the bumper off you will need to pull on the bumper by the fender. This process is a little nerve wracking because you can break the plastic pieces.
3. There are two plastic clips holding the bumper on, located behind the grill.

Are these brighter than the factory HIDs with Osram bulbs? I wish you had tested both OEM halogens and HIDs... Based on other testing I've seen on your channel, some HID bulbs get much brighter than the 570 max lux on these XBs. Is there something I'm missing? Do the LEDs have a wider hot spot or something that makes them more useable than HIDs, or are the HIDs better? Or does this kit not work at all with Yukons with factory HIDs? Really interested to know the answer to this.

I noticed when lux testing the OEM halogen set up the beam pattern was reminiscent of a reflector style but then the OEM headlight was shown with a projector which leads me to believe halogen lux test came from a completely different vehicle to ramp up the XB's numbers - explain yourselves? (BTW I like the XB's on this Yukon).
The exact same housing was used in the test that is on the vehicle. The OEM housings are just that bad.
Man, I wish they would make LED projector headlights for 2011-2019 Chrysler 300 models!

Definitely interested but what’s the life on these cause if there’s no bulbs to replaced that means I have to by the entire headlight again.
You're covered by a full 5-year warranty, most issues can easily be fixed by troubleshooting.

Love the concept of an all-LED assembly, however, if only Morimoto (or any headlight manufacturer for that matter) made their products with built-in lens defrosting technology. Not the heater element on the lens type, but something internal - built into the headlight for superior winter performance.
That could be something that Morimoto can do in the future.

The title includes 2020 year, but the on-screen title for the install section of the video say says 15'-19'. Is the year 2020 install different? I have a 2020 Yukon SLT and would like to buy this Morimoto LED setup, but would like to see an install video for the 2020. Is it because the bumper attaches or comes off differently? I have no idea if it does or not, just wondering if that is it. I appreciate your reply.
Hello, these Morimoto XB LED headlights are compatible with the 2020 GMC Yukon. The way the front end disassembles is the same as the Yukon we used in this video.

They most likely will not, there is not enough demand for these vehicles.
Did you have to adjust the headlights or did they come ready aimed from morimoto?
They come aimed from Morimoto - but it's still best to check the headlight level and make adjustments if needed.

The installation of the headlight module itself is easy but removing the bumper and grill is something I wouldn't attempt. Too many screws to remove and keep track of. Personally, I would leave this work to a dealer or experienced mechanic.
Yes, it is more in-depth verses other vehicles we have done installs on. If you're worried about keeping track of the screws have an assigned place for them that's labeled on a table. Adam works on so many vehicles, he cant remember all of them so that's what he does.
