Nice video Dave comparing the two! Thanks for mentioning the Channel, I really appreciate it. I love the Jäegermeister Alfa, still one of the fastest cars on my track. Cheers buddy ✌🏼🏁
All DTM cars from that period had differences from year to year, Calibra, C Klasse and Alfa, Maurizio is a stickler for accuracy. We are just introducing Slot it DTM as a class on our club track, 100 foot wood, six lane, I've got the white Warsteiner C Klasse on pre order as my runner .
You can add a third variant also. I have the 1995 Larini #8 Martini car. The chassis and interior are similar to your 1994 car, but the body is a blend of the 1994 and 1996 styles. Thanks for the content, it's a great reference.
The thing that got me was how poor quality the tooling is for the later ones. I really don't understand why Slot It of all companies would sign off on that, but they did.
The issue is definitely handling. To the point the orange one will go into the pit at the same speed as any other car, the red one will de slot at anything above a crawl speed

Great review Dave, I have mine still boxed I do not remember what version I have. Will have to dig it up.
Nice job Dave!

Where did you get the Jäegermeister car from? Can’t seem to find it anywhere in the UK.
That one came from Pendle but was about 6 months ago
@@slotr Thanks. That’s where I looked first but to no avail. I’ll keep looking.
Not all motors are equal regardless of the sticker, did you try swapping them over or do they accelerate the same and the issue is the handling?

is there a weight difference with the top mouldings ?
Not really, I'm wondering if the red one has a warped chassis
