Hello. good information. I have a similar device, which does not detect the wind. I assume the sensor is useless. It's small, and I hope to find it around.
If I leave the unit on long enough to try to capture a MIN and MAX temperature, it just times out and powers itself off. Won't stay on long enough to ever see much temperature change. And after it powers down, it erases all previous measurements. So I don't understand how the MIN, MAX, and AVG features can possibly work.
Hey could u do a comparison side by side of the yellow and the black anemometer you have? I have the same 2 and I held under the same fan and there was a 2mph difference .. Was wondering if it was the same for you.. Thanks! Chase
