9am games would be TERRIBLE for fans and students involved in the physical gameday. Bands and players have to prep at least 5 hours before the game, making them be on campus at 4am or before. A 9am game on the east coast is a 6am game on the west. Now that you have California teams on the ACC, that would mean a loss of those viewers.

As someone who supports a team that plays in the SW, I fully support brunch games in September over noon games that are brutally hot.
