    "If you rely on the other person to make it work you have already missed the point." 😮👏
    "Nothing good happens after midnight." True. 😏

    my boy friend and myself are in a long distance relationship for almost 3 years now. we have meet in person multiple times, but when we can't, then we tend to just call or face time. When we texted the majority of the time, we both just got frustrated and couldn't understand why. so when we took a break, we realized that we are not the same people we are over text as we are in person or on the phone. I believe that that is the main reason we have lasted this long long distance, is because we don't worry about texting all day everyday anymore. because that can honestly ruin a relationship.

    So hard to find a quality video on LDR's, this was awesome! I love how you got perspective from different couples. Loving my LDR, of course I hope it's not LDR forever!

    Being in a long-distance relationship is easily one of the most challenging and emotionally draining kinds of relationship but when it works, you are faithful and devoted to one person and have unforgettable reunions, heartbreaking goodbyes and exciting mini-adventures made along the way.

    I just stumbled upon your channel and this video is so helpful to me right now. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year now and we’re about to be in a LDR for about 4 years for college. I know I want to marry him and he wants to marry me but we have to get through this next. We’ve dealt with a lot so far and this is just the next step that God has planned for us and our relationship.

    The elder couple seemed to feel the need of other people to give feedback about the other person. The younger ppl seemed to stress more on accountability partners. The older couple wanted someone to keep a check on the other person while the younger ppl wanted someone to keep a check on themelves...

      I also saw the difference in how long/if they had known one another beforehand. If you've established the trust, you trust them; if you don't know the person (well) yet, it's a different story... :)

    Umm, wow. I really appreciate this! Thanks for all the advice. Also, Tiffany, I REALLY think that your husband has a similar way of speaking and similar mannerisms to your dad. Interesting! Do you see that, too?

    • @TiffanyDawn
      @TiffanyDawn  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is so funny! You know, he does have some very strong similarities. In this video my dad was really serious, but in real life he is TOTALLY HILARIOUS and he and James are sooo funny together!

    Welp, guess it wasn't meant to be...I didn't end up with the long-distanced girl I dated years ago (2011-2014). It was almost exclusively long-distance. We literally failed each of the questions when I think back on it. It's been a challenging healing process for me because I truly cared for her. There are some days that are still hard. Thankfully, I've since learned what my shortcomings were, and I believe I know now better how to ask for what I need.
