At 4400 miles, my clutches are TOAST.. or at least the primary is. I think the only reason the thing still works is the Bad Ass Belts belt that's been on it for the last couple thousand miles. I've been running your weights for a long time and they're doing great, but the clutch is done. It's badly grooved and I'm pretty sure it's slipping or something when leaving from a stop. Dealer says Kawi won't warranty it (I still have 6 mos of warranty left), so I was gonna get the machined ones from JBS.
I put 3300 miles on stock weighs. I just installed a clutch kid
Why would working mechanical parts not get wear? I guess to me it seems normal
Any update on when the gen 2 weights will be released?

Machining won't help unfortunately, I'd replace the primary.
I think your dealer is lying to you. From everything I've seen, kawasaki most definitely will warranty that.
