Now that ECL has been president for only one term according to the constitutional court why did the same court put 10 th December 2024 as a day to hear the final verdict for ECL eligibility case ?
Why didn't the court pinpoint that ECL is eligible to stand in 2026 general election.

Though some individuals say that Costa talks more than the guests being interviewed, for me he seems so though not really because he first lays a foundation upon which to stand for the question to come so as for one to clearly understand the question.

Yes SC Sangwa is right. Our scrambling economy was caused by bad policies ba Kaunda adopted after he took over from the colonialists. And all the successive govt have also not helped matters except Mwanawasa who tried to revamp the sickening economy. May be HH will try.

The historical context he described was spot on. His constitutional analysis is great too. On the downside,he sounds a bit myopic to judge UPND over a 2 yr period vs PF 10 years. Rebuilding takes time as current Debt is unsustainable to grow the economy at fast pace.

on the question of the fight against corruption I would have liked you to ask if the law being applied isn't as important as it being seen to be done.

If the law assumes that since the former head of state did not rule for a term which made him eligible for him to stand for pregnancy in 2021, what does the law say on his retirement package since he didn't clock a term?

Good discussion packed with interesting facts and insights. However,on the rating of government performance I entirely disagree with him purely using my common sense, the government has made many strides to govern this country in the best way possible considering where we have come from.Let’s work together to build and better the country!!!

Good discussion and a few facts but he needs to be fair in some of the assertions like he sees nothing has changed in UPND Government. Really?

Dear Costa, learn to ask proper questions not leading questions. The assessment by Sangwa SC was quite salty and very one dimensional. There have been great strides made to improve the lives most Zambians. Upnd has been in power for 2 years only. Is amendment of the POA a priority, I do not think so. There are so many needs by the general public not just the elite!
