I am SO thankful to see this video! I work for Medicare, and so legally I’m not authorized to give out information in this type of platform, but I so badly want to.
I just searched for “how to enroll in Medicare” and this was the first video to come up.
Cannot thank you enough for this resource.

Thanks for the video. Super helpful. I am getting closed to 65 and worried and anxiety over sign up for Medicare. What if I make mistake. After watch this video, it was easy to follow though for sign up process. Thanks god! I have been on Tricare for entire adult life so this Medicare thing is new and looks like so much to learn. I guess I have to review all of your video. Thank you so much for all of the detailed info.

A tad confused on some other videos I watched. I need to sign up for part A and delay part B. I believe (please correct or confirm) that you do not need to upload the two forms (cms 40B cms l564) when you enroll online via claim submission, simply do not sign up for Part B. These forms come into play after you or your spouses plan no longer covers you, at which time you have 8 months to submit another claim for part b, without penalty. The Group Health plan info and the remark are very important when you do this.

I wish I saw your video before. I signed up for Social Security first at a later month. I'll be 65 this June and am now not allowed to sign up for medicare on the site. I needed to sign up for Medicare only but didn't see that in time. I hope folks see this because I have an appt. for a telecall in June made in March with SS. You are not allowed to go to an office.

I would like some clarification on Plan N. I know you and others indicate that there's a $20 copay for visits to doctor and $50 for emergency and no excess charges.
But what about after you visit the doctor, they treat for this or that, or just give you an exam, or just take blood samples which get sent out to the lab, etc., there's always costs involved with everything they do (a la carte). Go to the hospital, there's so many charges after the visit
Will Plan N cover all of those charges or is there split in cost that the individual would need to pay? But I thought that's what N or G would take care of. I am getting contradictory explanations and want to get it clear in my head. Thanks

You do not have to enroll in Medicare if you plan to us VA benefits only. However if you don’t enroll in Medicare when you are first eligible and then you decide to enroll later on, you may face lifelong penalties for Part B.

@@robertspencer2917 if you are collecting social security benefits then Medicare will automatically enroll you in A and B, and give you an option to fill out a form declining Part B. You can choose to not enroll in Medicare Part B if you are living outside of the US and its territories (since you can't really use your Medicare benefits outside of the US), however if you plan to travel to/move back to the US you may want to sign up for Medicare Part B during your initial enrollment window (upon turning 65). If not, you may face a lapse in coverage/penalties if you enroll late in Part B. Feel free to call for more information at (888) 465-9728. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for your helpful videos. To confirm..I am still working and plan to continue to work until my wife and I collect social security at 100% which is 66 years and 6 mths for her and 8 months for me. I actively cover health insurance for my spouse through my global company employer. Next year my wife turns 65 before I do. I plan to enroll her in Medicare Part A ONLY 3 months prior her turning 65 to avoid penalty AND delay enrollment into Part B / Medigap / Part D until I retire from my employer not during my IEP. Meanwhile when ready to retire gather evidence of our being covered through my employer when applying for Part B during the SEP with forms CMS-40B and CMS-L564. Is that right? Many thanks

This person is still working, but did not sign on for insurance with their employer because they knew they would be turning 65 and thought that they would wait for enrollment period. Obviously, they were not aware of the 7-month period. Can they still apply for Medicare online? This person may be eligible for Medicaid, based on their yearly earnings, which were about $13,000.00 in 2019. My mom is going to turn 65 in an month. When applying for Medicare they said she didn’t qualify. I been trying to figure out why she doesn’t qualify but I can’t find anything. Any suggesting as to why?

Could be she didn't work enough years of her life. In the process of signing my mom up as well.

    Thanks for good video.
So at age of 65, everyone need to enroll Medicare to avoid penalty even though still working and covered from company insurance.
    Is it right?

Then I would recommend you contact Medicare - 1-800-633-4227 , they should be able to let you know when you can expect to receive it! 😀

So here I am again not being signed up for Medicare. I turned 65 11/20/56 and missed my enrollment because I couldn't remember my password and you can't change your password without a number. I've called Medicare and they tell me to call SSI and this has been going on this entire last year back and forth. I work full-time for a hospital and last year you said I would be fine but I'm terrified I'm going to be penalized. I'm going to try to work until the end of 2023. Am I in big trouble? Is the best option for me to call SSI and request a phone conference or seek an attorney to help me? Both SSI and Medicare say my email address is already being used so that must be the day I signed up during my enrollment period but I again I can't change the password. Help!
