This game is completely focused on delivering fun and a total rejection to bloating. (The number of cards is just about right, not too many or too few for a single game run)
This is also proof that classic mechanics like "Roll to move", "Roll 1 and bad thing happens", "Draw tokens from a bag", "Player competition", "Timer" etc can still be fun if used in the right ways / combination! Love it!
We speed the game up at the beginning by giving each player a quest card at the the start, this gives players something fun to do off the bat! Love it.
This game has a shocking amount going on for being a “small” box game. Love the relative simplicity but open nature of it all. Looking forward to see what these guys do next (after BoD’s expansion of course).
Hi Daniel. Thank you for such an Epic review of our game. So glad you are enjoying it. Great to see you found the extra Chronicles of the reach on our website. I think you just nailed the first expansion for 7 Moons: Those are brilliant ideas which will take it up a level, and they will be easy to implement as you say. (we will be in touch).
Couple of things to point out on gameplay. Firstly you get robbed by bandits on a roll of 1 or 2. Secondly, on the solo game, if 3 of the same tokens are pulled from the bag it will just advance the dragon meeple one section. So the reset (where all of the tokens are put back in the bag and the cycle starts again will be when the dragon has gone full circle. hope that make sense.

The chronicles are a great addition. I would love a mini expansion with a little book full of campaign missions and some extra encounter cards. I would also welcome a second game exploring new lands with similar mechanics. I really hope this game gets the attention it deserves
Thankx for the great video. You did clear up one point we somehow missed-If you lose your dinosaur, you go back to being on foot, in that same space! NOT back at your City!
I love the aesthetic. It sounds fun solo or with others. I am a sucker for small boxes filled with stuff. I have neither the desire or space for a bloated game. It does feel sometimes that Kickstarter epics are for influences to get and show off lately. But that's another story.
I was so debating if I should purchase this game as I love Gunpowder Studios Bag O' Dungeon game. Well, here's a video from my favorite board game reviewer. Nice.
I really like 7 Moons. Such a fun little game giving me a flavour of Runebound in about 45 minutes! I got the deluxe version on sale and the amount of stuff you get is amazing. I can see an argument for increasing the complexity a little bit but there is also an argument for keeping it nice and simple. Probably easily hackable for anyone who wants to add King's Bounty style encounters in the wilderness, road or city.

Looks like a decent little game but I think I'm with you in thinking it needs a little bit more substance.
If they announce some kind of small box expansion (a few more cards, perhaps a couple of tables / charts as you suggest), I'd snap this up!
I love the game board! Makes me want a new Runebound so bad!
Looks so fun, you could convert it into a her crawl like Barbarian Prince.
Oh yeah. The board is super useful for other games.
I like this game. Is enought for family plays.
Wood Elves selling wood is funny to me. Usually they are the 'don't chop our trees!' kinda people.
Maybe it's only FOUND wood! :)
Maybe having the horse from the start would speed up the game. And in order to make it not too easy, there is a chance your horse can be wounded(doubles ?) so you need to go walking to the next domain in order to heal it( 2 or 3 gold). I will try it after few games.

They don't feel similar to me, and 7 Moons is in a nice small box, so it doesn't take up a lot of space, and it's affordable. I think there is room for both, if you really liked adventure games.

Hows this compare to Legends of Andor?
Much simpler. Andor is more like a co-op puzzle game. This is basically a roll and move adventure game.
