I am soooooo excited to share with ya how I set up my Common Planner 'Weeks'!!! I'm so enjoying this size!!! Like FOR REALS for reals! 🥹
I think what I'm most excited about is that I am finally utilizing my quarterly section.

I really enjoyed this video, and gives me a few ideas for my own everything book.
Oh the problem I had with the N2 full year was precisely the 520 pages, only after I had it in my hands that I realized I don't like how my hand feels and writes near the edge of the very thick notebook so instead I went back to my weeks and added a companion, so my hobonichi weeks will still be a yearly planner with all the trackers, but my companion will house my dailies and tasks/project management. Still I love to see how your set up is looking. Thanks for sharing.
I love the compact N2 for that very reason.

You could also clear tape the back of the clearcover shut? Or add a bit of washi to close the back side edge.? So it stops from moving.

I read the 12 week year last year and it was great information. I tried it, but I have such a hard time making myself do anything that I say I want or need to do. Accountability and discipline are not my strong suit. I love your daily question you ask the Lord. Perhaps that is what I need to do in my quiet time is ask the Lord how he can grow me in this area.
Chronological has hands down been my favorite way to read through the Bible. This year I’m trying Professor Horner’s Bible Reading System, which is a challenge, but I want growth.

Thank you so much for sharing! I have been that way too in the past but I think what is helping me so much this time is the thought work. I learned this through Dr. Edie's class. When I feel like I'm procrastinating, I sit down and figure why...usually it's because of pain. I don't want to do the uncomfortable thing. So I then do some thought work to change the way I think, which in turn changes the way I FEEL about the tasks, and then that gives me the action I need to execute. He talks about it briefly in the book, but Dr. Edie talks about emotional resilience ALOT.

I cut the back of my clear cover as well b/c it was too snug.I have it strung thru a tn strings and it's working out great. Hope the other clear cover works out for ya!

I took one of my planners while I sat at an appointment today and made lists of what I want to track. I have a lot of support aids from exercise to eating and sleeping and writing and reading goals. I’ve never been so clear about direction to take. You are a big help to show your layouts and still adding creative pages. Can you still do watercolor on your journal paper or would water ruin it? I do miss seeing your color, but you’ve evolved and finding what is functional, exciting, and how to achieve goals. Thank you for sharing.
That's so awesome! Tracking is SOOO helpful! I have decided to leave my watercolor with my art practice for now. Funny thing is I will add my watercolor art to my planner via my stickers. haha! I might go with this version next year, hopefully she does planners next year. I like this layout, I have never doe well with the vertical, even though I do like the A5 size. This layout fits me better.
Oh gosh! I hope she does too! I don't think I could plan without it now that I've had it. 😅
I use washi tape rolled up to put my covers on and have them stay. Enough sticky to stay, but doesn’t leave residue.
In my experience SaltyKatie covers have a lot of extra lip around the edge because she sews 🧵 them. But you can easily and carefully trim the excess to get it in your cover 💗

the plastic covers from Common Planner was really very small and squishes the pages out and it's to tight. I hope they will improve for next year. I love the planner, and will get one again next year. :)
Use washitape it will keep it in place and will be no sticky residue.

Could you flip the clear cover so the cut edge is in the front? Would it look ok? Maybe the front cover of the planner your print and would have room to slide if the cut edge were in the front. 🤷♀️
I think that would drive me bonkers. BUT. Another subscriber made a suggestion and I tried it and I think it's working! PRAISE THE LAMB!!!

Yup. DoNotMicrowaveCraft sells pretty much the same stencil I used to sell. I don't sell them anymore but may have them in the shop again now that it's open. But if you need one now, you can go there. :)

Perhaps you can tape the choped down clear cover side in the inside with some Scotch tape. I do this for a couple of years to my journal Inserts where I had to chop down the clear cover like you did. Hope this make sense 😂....my clear cover don't slide anymore.

I suspect your salty Katie cover will not fit in your leather cover. I have one for my N1 and A5. Your leather cover needs to be a smidge larger and not so snug already.
The way you describe your cover fitting would drive me nuts and it’s already fraying the bottom of the spine ?! Need something different …
