I like that you include actual plans instead of just putting down stickers and you explain your process. I got some good ideas from you on what to do with an hourly layout. New sub!🙂
I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your video! Your planners are beautiful AND functional, and I love your handwriting! It’s so refreshing to see someone that actually uses their planners to *plan* (as opposed to filling the space with so many stickers and washi, that there’s no room to write anything in them or plan anything). It’s a pet peeve of mine and it bugs me way more than it probably should since it’s really none of my business… 😂 Going to check your other videos now! 😊
Thank you! I really love my planners and I do like to decorate sometimes, but I need to see my plans. I’ll get too distracted with pretty stickers all over the page.
Pretty layouts and thanks for explaining everything in such a straightforward to follow manner! In some planner videos they talk so fast and make it so complicated I just give up and can't finish watching. I think a lot can agree. :)
Enjoyed this video, and learned more about how to use the stickers while being able to see the functionality too. Pretty and practical is a great way to be!
Thanks for sharing your process. I'm thinking of using a Common Planner N1 next year and it was super helpful to see how you use yours in terms of scheduling and chores. It was also nice to see how you update the planner throughout the week
Thank you. I hope you get a chance to watch my August planner update video. That’s where you’ll see my messy daily. That’s how my weekly can stay so nice! 😂
Hi, Stacey! I was excited to see that you are using the N1 planner in both the vertical and horizontal options…it seems like I seldom see the vertical, and I just ordered B5 size vertical compact size from Sterling Ink from their big release yesterday…so I’m glad to see how you will be using that! 😊 Thanks, Meline
Hey Meline! It’s so good to see you. That B5 is gorgeous! I hope you like it. I’m almost sure that I’ll be trying out an A5 horizontal next year to combine my journal and goal planner.
I really enjoyed this week’s video. you’re slaying those planners! the time blocking is such a great idea. i look forward to seeing your planning style continue to evolve the meet your needs. thanks for sharing! 😊
Loved your thought process in this video! I think we have the same brain 😂 I am trying to decide between vertical or horizontal weekly for 2025 - for the exact reason you’re using both! I like to see my schedule laid out like you’ve done vertically but I also prefer the horizontal for to do lists. I don’t think I can keep up with 2 separate planners though as I struggle to just keep up with one most days 😂 such a tough decision! But thoroughly enjoyed your video and you just gained a new subscriber! ❤
Thank you. I think that since I’m time blocking in my daily, I can use the horizontal weekly. I now use the vertical columns for journaling. Thank you so much for subscribing!
New subscriber thank you thank you thank you for walking through how you plan this is so important and so helpful and most people don’t do it. I really appreciate you.❤❤❤❤❤
Just found your podcast and wow!! I had to subscribe. How do you find the time to be so organized? Do you get up early to prepare your day? Also love how you decorate but most important is the substance. I just know I’m going to enjoy bingewatching;)!
Thank you for the kind words. No I don’t wake up early at all. My weeks are usually about the same, so planning doesn’t take long. My pages also have a lot of documenting what happened. I also use my daily planner which can get quite messy.
This was so helpful. Thank you! I have a hobo weeks for work and the size just isn't big enough. I have been looking at an N1 from SI. I have that same size notebook. I think I'm going to do a vertical spread, but make the columns wider for just M-F and add my daily tasks underneath my work times. And have a larger section for to do list on the right side.
You know that blank column, you could list what you grateful for that day or something that you learned that day or something like the weather or list things that you’d like to research.

Glad it was helpful! Thank you for subbing!
Exactly. I've noticed the plan with me vids have been more like stickers with me.
After you mentioned “planner time” in my head, I thought Hammer time… if you know you know lol
😂yeah I’m an 80s baby. I think that somebody made an MC hammer sticker that said planner time some years ago!

Pretty much unless there is a change in the week like a holiday, birthday, vacation. Something like that will cause a change in my plans.
