I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but it surely wasn't this. Jared has some good covers, but this was on a whole other level. So much beauty and sweet sadness, not overdone at all.

Amy Lee's vocals are so haunting in her version of this song. I really wish you had been able to capture that with your vocals, but it is still very well done! And I love that you didn't go rock after the bridge. Personally, that is my favorite version of the song.
I am sure I speak for a ton of Evanesence/Amy Lee fans when I way that I would love to hear you cover more Evanescence songs (Bring Me To Life, Lithium, Everybody's Fool, Call Me When Your Sober, etc.).
I think there are songs that are so representative of one artist/group that when others take a stab at it, I hate to admit that I'm sometimes hypercritical of their efforts.
Having said that - this is nice - this works. Congrats, Jared!

I first heard My Immortal not long after my husband died of cancer at only 49. Even now more than two decades later this still has the power to move me. Very different from the Evanescence version but no less beautiful
