    I have a bunch of the bed frames too. With those and one of the 2x2 street sign posts, you can make anything.

    Hi G Bear. Looks like it's coming along pretty good. Very well planned out.

      My wife hates it when I bring stuff home... when we live in a one-bedroom apartment, every square inch of storage is critical, so stuff that I "may" want to use somewhere down the road to make something is not very welcome, usually! (smile!)

    • @GBear
      @GBear  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@samvalentine3206 I understand that. I used to tell my customers, "The amount of new storage space you add is always equal to 10% less than you need."

    • @humbertocarrionjr8111
      @humbertocarrionjr8111 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's too bad samvalentine3206. I have an area outside where I can place found items and I have two sheds where I can also store stuff. Maybe one day you'll have a place for outdoor storage. Everything is possible.

    Yeah those old worn out batteries kind of suck. I have a 24 volts 100 amps lithium iron phosphate battery 🔋 coming Wednesday. Im getting another one for 🎄 Christmas. Im going to put the best eight batteries i have, two are a month old, and use those on the 24 volts part with the new batteries, and create a 12 volts side and use my spare inverter which is also 2000 watts but 12 v. The other twelve batteries can run that part. It won't hurt if I lose a couple or three of those later on. The 12 volt wind generator can run those, and I'll make a 24 volts wind generator for the other side. Im going to try it like that and see what happens. Happy birthday. 🎉

    You're NOT old, GBear! Happy Birthday in advance! 5:11 - that there's a brake rotor. The caliper is the gizmo that takes the hydraulic fluid and turns it into linear motion to compress the brake pads onto that rotor to create the friction to stop a vehicle. You knew that but probably forgot it. 8:36 and the grease cap sure looks like a caliper piston with the ring in it for the seal to keep the hydraulic fluid in the caliper body. Here's an animation for those who may need help to visualize: th-cam.com/video/Au_SRabG_64/w-d-xo.html - Sorry to hear the welder trick didn't work on the battery - I assume you were using a DC stick welder and observed polarity as an AC welder will NOT work for that hack to work - if it does. Keep up the great work, GBear! Thanks for posting!

      Right on all counts. I can't believe I said caliper and cap...must be the lack of beer from the lack of funds.

    GBear You really need to put the oil outlet on the side of the tank. Use the bottom outlet and a drain in case you get moisture or water in your oil. The water will always go to the bottom so you need a way to drain it so it doesn't get to you oil outlet. If water mixed with the oil get down into the stove you could do some serious damage. I seriously don't want to see anything happen to your homestead that you worked so hard to build. My2¢
