I really love the way that Duane explains this piece.. I feel like I am taking a music appreciation course, deepening my understanding of pieces that I have heard before, but never appreciated in this depth.
Thank you for this analysis. I originally wrote a comment that I’ve since found I was completely wrong on all the facts. 😅 Now I don’t know who it was that played this concerto that I loved! I do play myself but not at this level. I am a big fan of your videos analyzing different pieces. Thank you!
Hi Duane! This is such a great video of such a great piece. Many thanks! Great cantabile at around 6:35. I think I'm going to try to include that in my new loop (and maybe those descending thirds just before) - as it all seems basic but beautiful. Here is my 20 minute loop without the Grieg (the first 2 minutes are repeated again at the end): th-cam.com/video/r3p2yLpCL94/w-d-xo.html
Thanks. Here's my latest sonatina. My Beethoven and Tchaikovsky line ex-teacher said she liked my first one. This is my third: th-cam.com/video/ZJcrRmuc0iw/w-d-xo.html
So interesting. Thank you for this overview. 👏👏👏
My pleasure. Thanks for watching!

Glad you enjoyed it. Grieg wrote a great piece.
Muchas gracias Maestro!
