- In a world of vinyl wraps and in-and-out paint booths, it’s getting tougher to find insanely hand-crafted paint work on the level of Chase’s Oldsmobile Super 88. All the way down to hand-turned silver leaf embedded into layer after layer of candy paint. Everything about that Olds is wicked. That whole back end is just the bees knees. And that orange on white.....so good.

Man.... I personally LOVE the 59 style bubble tops I've got a 59 4 door bel air that's a numbers matching all original trim and glass with only 68k miles that was my fathers that I have dreams of redoing back to factory one of these days I know its a 4 door but regardless I will have that thing back on the road I'd almost argue that a 59 2 door is better looking than a 57 2 door....

@@JoseHernandez-pb7dy I fell in love with the bat wing style fins on the 59s mines in need of alot of work but ever since I was a kid I just remember lookin at it and thinkin it was the coolest car ever and I always wanted it when I grew up... well now I've grown up I have it and just need to get started I guess
I love that car. My brother bought one just to get him back and forth from California Scottsdale Arizona in the late sixties. I remember it had bench seats with that clear plastic protection. We used to have to keep extra transmission fluid with us because it leaked so much we would use a couple cans of trans fluid just to get us back and forth
This is the build style I really like. "Mild Kustoms" are kinda my thing.

Incredible car! They are super difficult to find parts for. I have a 1960 Oldsmobile sedan and finding parts is next to impossible. Great job on your custom !

Not a car to drive every day, white leather would be fine.
Just wash hands, make sure werent working on cars walking in mud etc etc before entering.
Wouldnt be right any other colour, its great.
I'd be more concerned about the paint. Candy at that caliber is a full repaint for any repair.

What a beautiful car. Props to the builder. DAD would be proud. The exhaust is pretty sweet. No way that thing weighs 7000lbs. Stock they were about 4200 lbs. old cars are not as heavy as people think.

Love the ride but when he shows the engine compartment it looks like crap around the engine. He needs to show it some love if he's going to show it. Can tell he didn't do a frame off on it and understand stand that. Anyways good looking car and glad he's not afraid to drive it!! 👍
This is one low rider that I would own. Regardless I always appreciate the skill of the paint jobs of that scene no matter if I think it is to loud or not.

Older cars get a pass by cops but if you have a fixed up import you'll draw attention.

I had a 60 Chevy Impala 4-dr with a 348 & 2sp Powerglide, and with a full tank of gas, it only weighed 3840 lbs! 7K? An extra 3160 lbs.? What the hell, do have an extra car in the trunk?
