  • Walking our G chord up the neck provides a really nice nuanced sound to this delightful folk tune, Jamaica Farewell.
Depending on your practice goals for today, feel free to strum along, chord along, sing along, or some combination of those layers. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, just take off a layer. Giving your undivided attention to each layer of playing will make it easier to put these layers together faster … I promise! :)

A fun tutorial. I love the song. Great to play chords higher up the neck. A big thank you.

Thank you for this Avery, I can see me enjoying many hours learning and playing this, far more I think that will my wife and the cat will enjoy it!!
What a great arrangement too and a lovely simple way to play, same finger shape, just move it up and down the neck of the uke'.
I have listened to this song since the days of my childhood back in the days of steam powerd radio and this is the first time I have listened to all of the lyrics, not just thoseof the chorus. Which shows you are never too old to learn or enjoy learning, I hope! 😉
