They should make a real time 3D Worms game thats more akin to say Battlefield and Gavyn can jump off a cliff into the water whenever and wherever he wants.
Back in the days of Worms 2, the main dev said he was completely against the idea (he didn't even want a 3D game that was turn-based). He felt that completely ruined the idea of how Worms played and was "just jumping on the latest bandwagon" (this was when every company produced their own Quake clone and C&C clone). But if you pitched the idea not "like Battlefield" but "so that players can kill themselves all the time without waiting", that might get their interest.
So how does this sound? Everyone spawns on the map with their team's usual worms style, except all the players can move their worm so you have that real-time aspect, but so it doesn't lose part of what makes worms, worms, every time your timer ticks down you switch to a different worm. So you have the real-time part but you don't lose what makes worms, worms with your whole worm team some of them being helpless and the pressure of the timer.

In the second round, Jack's secret super weapon was the dynamite (22:36), Gavin's super secret weapon was the airstrike (31:31), and Jeremy and Lindsay never used theirs.

Team17 badly needs to make a new 3D worms next-gen. Would be nice to have a 3D Worms with graphics that aren't terribly outdated.
Funny thing is, these graphics aren't even that bad. They're about on par with friggin Fortnite.
