      By the way, they added select same fundtion to right click directly you do not need to go to edit and select same . I know you got used to use that function from the menu like a muscle memory =) just a silly contribution from your follower

    Great as always. You go so fast, I start and stop to create it after I watch it the first time. I want to thank you Rick. Learning from you has given me the confidence to start creating my own files for laser work. My first earring line will be in our new Etsy shop next week. I created from scratch(took me forever and a few 4 letter words) but I created my own rosebud and then inlaid a monogram letter inside. My wife named the line The Enchanted Rosebud Mongram line. And it’s all thanks to you and what you do for us. Not bad for a 64 year old, huh.

    Great channel that I’ve been following for a while now! Can you do a video on how to make a word cloud in Inkscape? Before someone starts to list websites that can do it quickly for you, I actually want to make this on my own, and I’d love to see your ideas! :)

    How did you make sure the river was back in the right spot?

      Great question. I referenced the roads that ran along side the river and compared the layout to a regular map to make sure it was where it should be.

    Hi Rick, almost every second comment starts with "awsome, great, cool". And yes, it is (as most of your ideas). But be prepared to use enough strong computer. Even though I've set up a scale of 1:500 000, the svg file contains about 9700 objects. It's a big bite also for gaming computer as mine. Pitty, Inkscape doesn't use a GPU :-(. The final svg counts about 49 MB. Nevertheless, I finalized the work similar to yours in the video. A very nice result that deserves print out to A3 format. Thank you for that ;-).

    • @IronEchoDesign
      @IronEchoDesign  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Agreed. The file sizes above 20MB really bog down my computer (its older) I wish I could take the full scale maps and do the same techniques, but they crash Inkscape before I can get to far. Maybe in the future!
