I was just wondering about the high tide hour/season. We planned to visit here for couple of hours during the day, if possible, in Jan 1st or 2nd. A day trip from Paris. We don't want to get stuck in the tide hour! If we are stuck, how long we will it be until the bridge/pathway will show up for us to get back to the land, please suggest, if you know.
There’s a sheep farm where there is a zig zag pattern water/grass area. I think it’s what u have on ur thumbnail. Can you plzzzz tell me how to get there if Wer arriving via train from Paris
The only option that we saw was a city run bus that takes you to six stops. Make sure that you understand the bus route and the stops before you get on it so you know which one to get off. We were able to take the bus into the town right next to Mount Saint Michel and it was very easy.
We are planning to take train or bus from Rennes. Google does not show all routes. Sncf app or omit app also does not show options!! Google says there are trains from Rennes to mt st Michel but train apps don’t show them. Did you have same problem?
The hotel zone is shuttle traffic only. Only workers and shuttles are allowed to go all the way up. Any maps don't allow personal transportation so it won't show up. Pick out your hotel if your staying and hop off on one of the two stops. It's very easy to walk up to Mt. St. Michel from the hotels. The metro from the train station will only be set up around the incoming trains. It will fill up, so wait in line right outside the station parking lot. It's very easy to find. @@rupanag Book your Abby tickets early and food reservations if you want to go.
@@lagoonlane make sure to make your food reservations in advance. They run the restaurants off of a total number of guests not based on seating availability

I wish they would have mentioned how long it takes to walk from the bus to the abbey.
It’s up hill but probably about 12 minutes
