Pole for going through that harrowing experience. There's a few this many (probably most) people don't understand about the US visa. A visa doesn't, in any way, guarantee your entry into the US. It's just like a boarding pass, for the airline crew to allow you to board the plane. Your admissibility into the country is determined by the customs officials at the US port of entry. Thousands of people travel every year and are denied entry when they land in US. There are multiple reasons for this, but this is a primary one: whenever the US gives you a non-immigrant visa, you must show enough evidence that you will return to your home country at the end of your stay. That means that you must show strong ties to Kenya (or whichever country). I could almost exactly tell you why your visa was denied. At the beginning of this video (minute 6:50), you stated that you were going to visit/work. That's a red flag, and, depending on how you had answered your visa interview questions, it's very likely that you were issued the visa by mistake. Yes, I know what I'm talking about. A work visa (H-1B visa) is extremely difficult to get, and must be sponsored by a US company that could prove that they don't have enough qualified Americans to do the job. Normally applies to science/IT based jobs. On the other hand, in order to qualify for a visitors visa, the threshold is even higher- you need to show really strong ties to Kenya i.e a permanent job, very successful business if self employed, and normally a very healthy bank account. In addition, keep in mind that the US filters through social media. If (and I'm making an assumption) by any chance they see any reference to "work" in any of your posts/conversations, that's another red flag. Keep in mind that the interview process is to 'filter people', and they'll use any little excuse they have to deny your visa. In addition, when you visa is granted, you're not in the clear yet. Anything you say/post could come back to haunt you. By the time your passport is scanned when you board at JKIA, the US already has a profile of all the passengers heading to their country, and they have every right to stop your travel process even before you land in the US. It sounds harsh, but that's the reality. You know what's worse? They don't need to give you any conclusive answer as to why they've cancelled your visa. Pole.
I was looking for this comment, her problem is contradicting herself. A visit visa doesn't equal work permit. The person hosting here would lose alot if they found out about deceit. Unfortunately, we don't research or gather enough information on what to expect. Still, I understand how painful it is to lose such an opportunity and her money as well 💔
When I went for a visa many moons ago one of my best friends alinyimwa visa and was no way of her going back to challenge the decision. So she did soul searching and found her passion of typesetting. Sad story and I have two questions(comments) 1) After Muthoni was returned from Heathrow, why did Agent tell her if she went to US Embassy to ask reason for being deported she would be arrested? Had the Agent provided fake documents to Embassy during visa application process and then Embassy discovered after they had issued you with Visa? Number 2 doesn’t make sense at all. She first traveled to SA then UK. Why did she go to immigration in the UK if she was on transit ? However, US Immigration can ask UK immigration to stop her when she comes off flight, however she dint mention that, she said she went to immigration, my question is, why did she go to immigration in Heathrow? Unless she was changing Terminals and has to exit, this is plausible in Heathrow
The title of the video interview does not match what the lady said. I was eagerly waiting to hear about that person who can influence US embassy decision on a visa. Too sad for her , God will see her through in a different dimension.
Muthoni you are very beautiful and brilliant lady. I envy your enthusiasm and devotion (you never give up). Keep trusting in God and doors will open for you in a different way. I love the way you are open to taking any kind of job without selecting.
I’m sorry that this happened to this lady. After listening to this story, especially where she mentions the Agent discouraged her from going back to the embassy. I have a strong feeling there was an issue with probably her documents which they realized after she had been issued the visa and the Agent was very aware of that. Unfortunately if you’re deported from US you have to wait for 10years.. May God open for her other and better doors / opportunities
I worked at an international airport for 8 years and i saw this all the time at transit and saw kenyans also had being deported back due to visa cancellation. The security profiling guy for the connecting flight is the one who cancelled your flight either.... 1. due to the questions he asked u that proved you were not going back to kenya yet you were on visit visa 2. Either you didn't have a return tkt to show that you would go back to kenya. 3. Your agent had cancelled your return tkt after take off before you reached US, since you said they booked for u new ticket. One way ticket ndo ilikuuza that you were not going back to your country.
I was in usa last week this month and you know whati didnt let anybody to know about my travelling my brother who lives in usa i sent him my ticket number while inside the London fligt to usa asked him to pick me at the AirPort and not to tell anyone . Pole sana for what you went through dear😢 God is in control, HIS time is the best and HE makes everything beautiful at HIS own time🙏🏻 I started my journey as well and the process ilianza na much frustrations, applied for my passport and i have spent over 40k za kupush being referred from one person to another, one says iko printing, another says hakuna booklets, next person says degrade or change to a different series, they all keep going round in circles, still stuck here alone two years later after marriage because my husband had to go back to work. We're still hoping and praying God for a breakthrough and may HE come through for every one who is in the same process🙏🏻
I’m very sorry that this happened Maggy . Listening to this story, I tend to doubt your agent. I’m not sure you got a legit visa through your agent. Please try to apply for dv lottery this year October. I still believe you can finally get to USA 🇺🇸. Gods timing
You're right. One doesn't need to use an agent to come to America. Maybe going to gulf you need one. You just need to go to the embassy and try your luck
Beautiful lady you are God loves you dear and whatever happened God know and He usually fight our unseen battle He will do it for you. God will continue standing with you dear
I trust that everything happens for a reason , even if we're not wise enough to see it. My dear if that do is not opening kuna plan B...enda Canada. Hujui nini Mungu anakuzuia ikupate kule US.

The story has nothing to do with jealous relatives, only that people must look for reasons to justify their pains. You had a non-immigrant visa which can be cancelled even after being issued if embassy officials discover information that is inconsistent with the details you gave in your interview. Most likely the airline that took you to the U.K was fined too!
I hope she heals first, this is because she is still in denial coz its seem her body is Kenya but her mind is still in America ,she many never know what God has always protected her from, secondly she can try other countries like Germany, Australia or Canada i believe its easier.i wish her Gods peace and God's speed.

The title of the video interview does not match what the lady said. I was eagerly waiting to hear about that person who can influence US embassy decision on a visa. Too sad for her , God will see her through in a different dimension.
True
I agree. The title of this video is misrepresenting the story. She did not know why her visa got canceled
My friend I'm happy for sharing your story. God will see u thro
Sister, utakam Stato siku moja. God will wipe your tears, and He will fulfill your heart's desires.
May God comfort you and open great doors for you.
Muthoni you are very beautiful and brilliant lady. I envy your enthusiasm and devotion (you never give up). Keep trusting in God and doors will open for you in a different way. I love the way you are open to taking any kind of job without selecting.
That's one big problem!! One way ticket is an open way to say to the immigration that " Ian going to stay "
May you heal and find peace beautiful lady,God got your back..wish you well
I’m sorry that this happened to this lady.
That’s what hat I thought too esp for the bs.
Your comment males sense coz there is no way some random enemy can cancel your visa
Exactly and definitely didn't want to refund her money.
In God We Trust, another door will open for this lady, 🙏 for her
She wasn’t deported she didn’t land in USA that’s Exit rejection
I worked at an international airport for 8 years and i saw this all the time at transit and saw kenyans also had being deported back due to visa cancellation.
The security profiling guy for the connecting flight is the one who cancelled your flight either....
1. due to the questions he asked u that proved you were not going back to kenya yet you were on visit visa
2. Either you didn't have a return tkt to show that you would go back to kenya.
3. Your agent had cancelled your return tkt after take off before you reached US, since you said they booked for u new ticket.
One way ticket ndo ilikuuza that you were not going back to your country.
You could be very right. Lack of Return ticket could be the reason.
may be there is a flag on the agent......"possibly the agent is suspect for illegal advise".......
yeah..was wondering how the agency was quick to buy her a ticket
I was in usa last week this month and you know whati didnt let anybody to know about my travelling my brother who lives in usa i sent him my ticket number while inside the London fligt to usa asked him to pick me at the AirPort and not to tell anyone . When i arrived the flight was late with 1 hr he thought it was alie and left . Somebody gave me her phone and i called him so he picked me up . All those who thought i will never make it there walipata aibu inclunding my x. Usiambie watu dreams zako let them know ukifika.🎉
But coming to America isn't a great accomplishment like everyone thinks. You can do well anywhere. Some people regret coming here coz of some of the difficulties they've encountered after such a huge sacrifice. I'm comfortable here with a great job, but if I had a good opportunity in Kenya, I would rather be home.
But each person's dream, desire, situation, and will is different. One man's poison is another's meat.
@@elizabethnganga That's true
Lesson learned
But back in Kenya to even get that one great job that you earn and stay a good life and your children to go in good school there are no jobs as such nowadays. I have stayed 30 years in Kenya struggling but atleast now I'm abroad I earn and keep my kids in good standard. So let's say here there are more good opportunities ata kuosha choo bado ni kazi
To her it was and still is,hakufanani
@Margaret Muthoni, Pole sana dada.I would advise you to try your Luck by applying the green card lottery .The door our God opens no one can close. Don't give up keep trying. Baraka. ❤
Sorry for what happened...you are still young lady ..soldier on and all will be well..don't lose hope..
Pole Muthoni🙏🏾 God has a plan for your life. People if you’re traveling please buy a round trip ticket. Remember these countries share information and will flag your PP in their systems. If you can avoid a Heathrow lay over. Going through that airport is a nightmare. Let’s not be quick to blame others I do not believe anyone went behind your back. A person with a visitor visa and one way ticket 🚩🚩🚩🚩
I didn’t know it’s a one way ticket. that’s a no no they will think you are planning to stay and therefore flag you. She didn’t have good advice I don’t think anyone has her visa cancelled the issue was the ticket
Wish angeseek asylum huko UK...angejifanya amepotea kenya juu kuna mwenye anataka kumuuua
God kindly come through for her
Usijali utakuja kwenda huko i was denied visa ya usa 2005 3 times ni kaenda Norway now i can travel usa vile nataka . . Mungu alikuprotect some things aki
Family ndio walikukula mami....search no further skuizi ni kubaya... but whoever did that may he or she never know peace mungu atakusaidia kenye ni yako itakupata tu...
Listening to the story, most likely the agent messed you up!!.
Sad. May God open new doors for you.
But you would have seeked assylum hapo Heathrow uingie UK.
Always keep quite until you arrive to your destination and stay for a while people are evil
Sorry to this lady. How does one recover from that disappointment and shame and may be she had disposed everything. Only God can heal her heart. When it comes to such things i have to ensure its Gods will and may be give an offering for it tondu wueh!Humans can disappoint
Pole sana muthoni ., i pass the same thing on 2013 my Visa was cancelled two times buy the person who had given me invitation, but me i had not used agent i got invitation i went embassy and i got i visa ,the host told me to give my passport number ,that was the mistake i did anyway i cried and cried i had used all the money i had ,buy the way i come from kiambu, Tinganga
So me i know who did it i was told and reason, but they will never get peace in there live
Woii ma kamwende ...u can apply again now
@alice D I cried one year then God opened another door, now am in Belgium 🇧🇪 and I have papers, even I have gone home like 4times, so God is faithful,
Muthoni can try going somewhere else
@@janekamwende4562 how's Belgium interms of work dear
But I think she should bring down pride coz it does not make sense afanye kazi ya kufua nguo huku, kuliko aende place like Dubai or Europe and there are descent jobs there.her love for USA is unreasonable.look at it positively and know May be God prevented many dangers that would have happened to her there
Very true .
I've watched this clip over and over again and truly sympathise with this lady. How humiliating it is for one to do such a thing, may God open doors for you
So sorry, hugs dear. May God open doors for you.
Hugs moma God will open the doors for you. You soo beautiful n the dimples whaaaoo
who did this evil thing. how can someone do such athing yet he or is still alive or dead and i pray that God will expose such people badly as it looks like this is someone who was shutting your dream.May God bless you untill your enemies get ashamed
She's so beautiful. Wow, even with short hair, she's gorgeous 😍. Take heart my child. Everything happens for a reason 😊
America is a land of opportunities, I wish someone can help her get a visa.....
Nop.... West is dying and world is living dollar and euro behind soon
Very true
The return ticket was the main reason she was deported, she needed a return ticket otherwise the agent did not inform her.
Exactly 💯.
You can't say you're going for a visit but then you have a one way ticket red flag.
@@janeshie7451 very true and. Soo many people don know
She should have researched it herself too. Its never wise to leave our responsibilities to others.

Sure this is very true...
Don't worry, America utaenda tu, na wakati utaenda utakua kama mwenye ameishi America for 20yrs
Mbona hamtumii lugha yebya kila mtu ataelewa
Beautiful lady you are God loves you dear and whatever happened God know and He usually fight our unseen battle He will do it for you.

I trust that everything happens for a reason , even if we're not wise enough to see it. My dear if that do is not opening kuna plan B...enda Canada. Hujui nini Mungu anakuzuia ikupate kule US.
Woiye sad story indeed
There's a reason for everything
May God remember n restore Margaret for the sake of her babies
Woi pole, muthoni, we schooled together , you are very beautiful and strong, all will be well dont give up
Am really sorry about this muthoni, may God bless you and am waiting to see you here in the near future. Amen
Ndonyi nazo❤. Beautiful lady, God's time it's the best😊
Could she have booked a one way ticket for a visit visa juu even if you are issued a five year visa the most you can stay in the US at a given time is six months.
You right n I think the reason is they knew she was going to work n probably not coming back this people are very smart
She's so beautiful....May God see you through.
That agent knows what transpired that’s why he was warning her not to go ask at the embassy
sure.....sababu huyu mama anasema vyenye aliabia huyo agent atenda kuuliza kwa embassy...the agen told her asiende ety anaeza shikwa
The agent faksified information and might have known all along that the visa was cancelled.
Someone to hook me with this lady,i feel sorry for her.will invite her to Germany host her untill when she is stable.😢😢😢so sad
Pole akh, But you got heart of a lion. If bado ulijaribu tena - enyewe wee ni die hard. Up to this far - its wise to remain shut especially when travelling overseas. People are not people anymore . Good luck mamie
True people always want to lay blame on others instead of looking for root problem
I hope she heals first, this is because she is still in denial coz its seem her body is Kenya but her mind is still in America ,she many never know what God has always protected her from, secondly she can try other countries like Germany, Australia or Canada i believe its easier.i wish her Gods peace and God's speed.
She is so beutiful, hugs baby girl
Dear you'll still go far with God
So sorry for what u went through musho pole sana 😮May God see you through again
FROM NOW REST YOUR MIND . The one who invited you. Belive me I live in America and that’s what’s happens the one invited did not want to disappoint you.
Mwikaei ma juu@ invite me na usinilenge pls😂😂😂😂😂 niwe disappointed
Mwikaei ma juu@ invite me na usinilenge pls😂😂😂😂😂 niwe disappointed
The person who. Invite her...not the agent...only the host can do that
Pole mami, God will open a better door for you ,keep believing 🙏
I think she need counselling. She is hurting. I went through the same depression when i was denied a visa. I was so devastated that i did not want to see anyone as i had already said bye. So ended up leaving the country to South Africa just to get out of Kenya.. Her mind is still in the US
Her spirit is in USA. If it's God's will she will one day go there.
was denied after waiting for a year and a half last yr..keeping hope alive,no giving up.

I know a couple who got green card and they were denied kwa embassy na green card yao ikakua counceld. Mambo ya America ni ngumu
America is not the little heaven on earth people talk about but I must say that it has better means and ways of survival. Hapa u can have all your basic needs met and piano save a little unlike in Kenya haha one meal watu wanakosa. Mtu akifanikiwa Kuja wacha awe na experience yake. No room for discouraging......it's somehow wiered that she never got to learn the reasons for her deportation....I smell a rat na huyo agent wake.
This is heartbreaking 😢,May God see you through coz He has all the answers, its well my sister ❤
Kagoni you could ask her whether she had a return ticket....
Really sad😢....delay is not denial....God will open a better door
All the best keep trying again and again and againg!!!!!
Her visa was canceled by the one who invited her
If that’s the case she wouldn’t have been allowed to board in Kenya.
That's being evil, why do that? It's better to be upfront with her than pretend that they can help.
@@Nyarari it is very possible to cancel even when a person arrives to her destination
@@louiseoluoch yes Louise people just want to pretend they can help
This cases are many where you go to the Embassy for the visa and you are denied because the invitee has canceled the invitation and this is very confidential with the USA embassy
nope. the agent knows why
My cousin was deported when she had just landed in boston, this happens all the time you are not alone, take heart
Damn am sorry to hear that...na vile hio njia ni refu only to be turned back...sadly, these incidents happen all the time.
I think when travelling it’s advertised to carry only your documents, presenting somebody else’s documents and it’s an old person seems suspicious if it’s not your family member . Be mindful carry your own document 📃 also you did need a return ticket that could have been the reason you were deported.
