A painting prettier than I, a twelve year old girl could have made. Eight years, now. I'm turning 20 in just under a month. My stepfather is gone now, my mother living in a different world than me. I dropped out of high school, and then college, and then I found my calling and chased it, seizing it with both hands until the day I could look out the window of the train, whispering to myself. I made it, I made it. And now, I have those friends that I once laid in bed watching, admiring, hopeful. I now find myself in moments where I am passing off a turn to my friend as he does to me. I haven't watched TRG since 2015, and I come back to find their ongoing Dokapon Kingdom playthrough. Thought they might've started new games at some point, but nope. 4 years and counting.
I mean, it lasts atleast a days worth of time (i think, i usually pass out watching it at 2 AM, wake up at 10 AM, and it usually takes 3 days to play through)
March 14, 2014. They said story mode was 20 hours! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It's two years later, and we have only seen about half of it. In 2018, we see that 20 hours can last 4 years!
I'm pretty sure they're planning on speeding up their upload schedule for this. If not, it would be such a long series. Besides, they have most of the game recorded.
Dokapon Kingdom deserves to have a universal sequel. This game is a treasure and iconic, yet SO underrated. I would literally suggest this game to EVERYONE to has ever played a video game before. Especially with 4 people playing. It’s absolutely chaotic, fun and frustrating at the same time. I could see this game being really good on the Switch. If it ever got a sequel.
If I might make a suggestion, I've been playing For The King with a friend of mine, it's quite similar in game play but not so silly, which to be clear, I consider a downside. Regardless, it's fun and has online co-op, so you can always play with friends! Hope you still get to see this, despite your comment being from two years ago.

Every time I settle in to watch this series I always get distracted and never end up finishing it but this time I’m gonna try to actually finish it this time!
Wow! Time really flies. I really liked this series. I was really inspired by this series when I first started watching it. Haven't yet started working on the kind of non-copyrighted story I was inspired to make when watching this series but when I can get around to do so, I will.

I’m convinced the English voice of the King is Teddie from Persona 4. And as such, I have the head canon that this is the Shadow World post P4 and Teddie just does this for fun whenever he has time to himself in the TV.

hey I just realized that if Jon wins the story mode, we will be having a close repeat of Aladdin since Jon is playing as a thief, and if Tim wins it will be a repeat of a Princess meeting her knight in Shining Armor in Fairy Tale books.

Benicthehedgehog Technically any game you can choose your class you can be a Mage and save the princess but the sad thing is a lot of people don't choose mages or clerics because they don't focus on Health, Strength, or Defense and its sad because mages are extremely powerful they just take a long time to get powerful enough to survive strong physical attacks, but that's Emile for you he starts off with a class, pokemon, or items that aren't good to begin with but get good once they get to a high enough level
Mad_Hatter_LPS that is too true, kinda like Magickarp taking a long time or a while for to evolve into Gyradoes or like taking a pokemon like Carvanha with bad defenses to evolve into Sharpedo that can hold its own in battle.

After 20 years, TRG reminded me about Dokapon franchise. Watched all Dokapon episodes. After that, I've finally purschased Dokapon Kingdom yesterday on Steam and finally playing it today. My journey through TRG's content in playlist order continues and well... this is it... possibly their biggest project if Wheel of Fortune or 100% Orange Juice don't have this beat. To be honest, I'm a little hesitant to go through this one given how long it is, but I'll do it anyway since it's good to listen to while working. But man, it's thanks to these guys that I got this game and even managed to beat all three AI on the hardest difficulty (Don't give me too much credit, I save scummed). And now that this game got a PC and Switch release, more people can play it and pull their hair out. Either way, while I am hesitant, I'm also excited to watch this again since I'm starting to remember all the funny moments. Either way, time for the longest part of my journey.

Aww. I was hoping they'd all do some weird, minor twist to their names like Jon being Pronathan Jonathan and Emile as Conachuggroy or something like that.
My journey through TRG's content in playlist order continues and well... this is it... possibly their biggest project if Wheel of Fortune or 100% Orange Juice don't have this beat.
To be honest, I'm a little hesitant to go through this one given how long it is, but I'll do it anyway since it's good to listen to while working. But man, it's thanks to these guys that I got this game and even managed to beat all three AI on the hardest difficulty (Don't give me too much credit, I save scummed). And now that this game got a PC and Switch release, more people can play it and pull their hair out.
Either way, while I am hesitant, I'm also excited to watch this again since I'm starting to remember all the funny moments. Either way, time for the longest part of my journey.
Restarting this series. This is gonna be a long one.. I can't wait!
I once wondered some years ago if we'll ever get this game on the Switch, and recently i learned that my wish was granted! Well, more accurately is going to be granted in about 5 weeks. (It's 4/1 as of posting this comment, and the game comes on 5/9)

You sound like my friend. I shit you not playing games with him was a chore. If we played Saints Row for a few hours most of that is him customizing his character. He's one of those gay guys that know fashion and he wishes I was that kind of gay but I'm not. Even if we played a WWE game he goes right to fixing his created characters. It annoys me to no end.
