Thank you so much Mark for sharing your tips and making this tutorial on color grading! God bless you and good luck!
Thank you so much, I hope you find the information in the tutorial useful.
Great tips! I'm excited to play with some of my old images and find a consistent look going forward.
Thanks for the comment firstly, and secondly, it makes me happy to know I’ve inspired you to try for a consistent look going forward on your images.
Nice mate! Thanks for the tips - gave me a different way of looking at colour grading.

Nice video, got some new inspiration from it! Also thanks for the preset! Curious what I can see in the future on your channel
Thanks so much for watching. Plenty more videos like this to come, I have so much I want to share! Thank you for the support and hope to see your comments on future videos! If you ever have any ideas for videos, I would love to hear from you about those ideas :)
Thank you for the tips! Very helpful. What screen are you using?
My pleasure, thanks for the message. I use an ASUS PROART screen, really affordable but great for editing.
Again Mark thankyou. I had/have become so stale in editing all my shots and did not know how to "Move On" I have just made my first ever prest...... still a long way to go. However can you please tell me how to make a "reference shot" ?????
Hi Carol, my pleasure. Glad my videos have helped you. A reference shot is just an image that you like, and would like to use as a basis to achieve a similar look on another image. This could be an image you have done, or someone else’s image. I’m recording a video soon on Lightroom Tips that includes using a reference image. Hope to have that out this Sunday :)
@@MarkDumbleton Thankyou so much Mark. I have been using LR for about 10 years and then tried to teach myself PS....... should have learnt LR properly in the beginning...!!!!
Lightroom is a lot more capable now than ever before. You can do most things now in LR.
As a fairly new photographer, I have no idea what my "consistent" look is. Am I just going on what hits me during editing? I normally try to guess what my audience will like. Maybe what the current trend is. I would love some guidance, thank you Mark
Thanks for the comment here. In terms of developing your own style, it can take years to develop and it’s something I found that just happens organically. Your style will be inspired by other photographers work, but if I have one word of advice - take inspirations from what you like and apply it to your own work, you’ll find that style you like and that feels right for your own pictures.
I’m going to order the full collection, but I do not see the color grading presets anywhere on the website. Is it me?
Thanks Rachel. They are there, the name of the pack relating to this video is called Blue & Sepia.
@@MarkDumbleton oh ok, thanks!
