I never leave comments on videos, but this one was insanely helpful in showing how to use Lumetri Colour without adding any unnecessary filler that it takes too long to get to the point, or assuming too much pre-learned knowledge - so I just had to say thank you. I use Premiere all the time for editing but rarely touch it for colouring due to the belief it was too limited, but after this video I can see all the potential and time saving opportunities when close enough is good enough for grading. Keep it up you legend!
This is by far the most straight forward colour grading video I have seen for Premier Pro, technique can be added to any camera log shot, all needed parameters touched and he wasn't making the video to sell us LUTs. Thank you.
I'm usually hitting the like button and not commenting, but I felt called to share a positive sentiment. Out of all the tutorials I've seen, this is the most easy to understand, most logical, and most thoughtfully created tutorial I've seen for color grading. Thank you, sir! Keep goin'.
I am in film school and I need to colour grade my short film AND this video has helped me a great deal- best one I have seen thus far for this activity
I love it. I wanted to see how does this layout at the end, since it's a video what happens with the lighted areas as the scene change or camera moves from position to another.
Personally I feel it just makes the timeline messy. I know there are benefits to using adjustment layers but I'd rather stack lumetri colour effects on the clip instead of use adjustment layers
I've been a 3D model artist, working with games engines, for 20 years now but I've recently kinda gotten tired of it.. I'm 40 years old now and I just don't feel passionate about it anymore.. I have, however, found a new passion for video editing and creation. I have done video editing a lot in the past but I'm finding it to be a lot more fun now!
Great stuff.... where I get confused with editing is taking a clip from a film that peaks out everywhere.. for example furiosa based off scopes has too much color.... ?
Hi, thanks for your video. One question, in some videos I've seen that you create layers and edit the color on the layer (ending up affecting all the shots). Or is it better to edit the color directly in the shots as you do in the video?
sony zv1?? I have this camera and I thought it was not an option to shoot on S log with this kind of camera:( can you please send me the setting and a video about it?
Hey thanks for the tutorial, I’ve been wondering for a while how to correct single color, and this video was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you for your time ;)
I normally don't' comment in video. If I appreciate it, I only click, like, to support, but this one disserves both. Very helpful tutorial, thank you for this.
cant get your video luts to work, they are xmp files and cant be uploaded into premier pro, also the installation guide cannot be opened. any advice pls?

Oh dude, my pleasure and thank you for the kind words 🙏

Finally a tutorial without any Luts!! Absolutely love it!!
Thank you so much! You taught me more in 20 minutes than my teacher ever did. You made it so simple and easy to understand. I really appreciate it!
One if the best explanations on how to color grade I've ever heard. Thank you.

I've never color corrected anything, and I'm having to recreate a client's reels from scratch- so this is amazing!
Now, I feel like I can do color grading to my YT videos after watching this fantastic tutorial. Bless you man!
Great Tutorial, beginning to take my color grading seriously! and starting here. Thank You!
Amazing video. It’s exactly what I was looking for
Very helpful! Crazy beautiful frame to grade as well, very satisfying to watch!
awesome video!! can you do one where you color correct a clip that is darker/back lit?
Thank you 😭😭🔥🔥 Exactly what I was looking for.
Excellent video and demonstration and especially your explanation. Thank you very much Zac.
Awesome!! Simple video and explained everything. This made lot difference to my video. Thanks
Do you have any videos showing how you color grade WITH your LUTS? I have the bundle pack and would love to see your workflow with them.
I want to add a super detailed workflow into the product, since you've already got it, you'll get it for free when it's ready!
I literally just used your tutorial
I’m so proud of myself
Sweet video, straight to the point and really learned a lot in a short video! Thanks man!
big help getting be back into using Premier Pro for color grading my videos.
I love it. I wanted to see how does this layout at the end, since it's a video what happens with the lighted areas as the scene change or camera moves from position to another.
Is there any reason you don’t use adjustment layers to do the various steps? i.e log to Rec 709 conversion, color correction and creative grade.
Personally I feel it just makes the timeline messy. I know there are benefits to using adjustment layers but I'd rather stack lumetri colour effects on the clip instead of use adjustment layers
Did you do the colour space transform? From Log 3 to Rec 709
Excellent video, thank you so much for sharing, it will definitely help us with our cooking recipes videos
Wonderful! So, what's the difference between, "Color Grading" or "Color Correcting" in a clip. Thanks so much.
6:04 boosting reds I have found, looks great in the shadows of darker-toned people. Reds bring out the richness of the skin
Wow, Most informative yet simple video on grading ive ever watched. Subscibed of course

I have to agree, this was extremely helpful and there was one step that completely changed a project I'm working on for me
Stoked I could help out!

Great video covering the basics into advanced level thankyou

You are grading based on a frame? What about 20sec later when you won t have green trees or red “hat”?
Excellent explanation, thank you.

LIFETIME TIP MY G

How do you sharpen the footage?
I don't! Not a huge fan of sharpened footage, but that's just my taste!
Nice, you know well what you want and how to do it.
Awesome tutorial . Great job!
Thank you very much for this, this video came to me just at the right time
Do this settings work for Nikon z6ii video recording since I don’t use s logs
Maybe not these exact settings but the workflow should translate over well!

Dope work and thx for sharing!
Do I need to film on slog for this?
Where do you prefer to color grade videos, Davinci or Premiere?
Which profile file shot this video?? Please tell me setting
Anyone know why on my curves tab I only have 1 option of Hue vs Hue? No Hue vs Sat etc
Be sure & apply a gamma compensation LUT upon export if you don't want a washed out result.

What's the profile used in your camera
It would be better if you provide audience the exact video you had graded so that we could practice ouselves....btw nice video best of luck.
How do you expose your S Log footage?
If you over expose like you should then you need to pull whites and highlights down to reveal detail
Neat. Great. Elegant. But why not just shoot without log when this look is the target?
cant get your video luts to work, they are xmp files and cant be uploaded into premier pro, also the installation guide cannot be opened. any advice pls?
XMP are lightrooom presets man! Could you check your order and email your order number, I'll sort it all out for you!
