    I support UNDRIP and demand that my elected government abides by it. I stand in solidarity with these water protectors and land defenders. Who else is with me?

    • @barbdallaire7758
      @barbdallaire7758 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not me. This tribe is not legit but a company paid by people who want to stop our energy from reaching world markets. They have no rights to the land period. They are paid to cause trouble and that's all they are. All the natives in this part of the country want the pipelines, they bring jobs to them and they need that, so I have looked for the truth and found that truth. Open your eyes people, if energy and gas is not allowed than what will you heat your homes with? Arab oil is not being taxed though, just us and you are going to paying for what. It doesn't change anything, except making Trudeau and Rockerfellers richer with their monopoly. Perhaps those true Native Tribes, should actually show up and make their voices heard over these propaganda tools. If you want the pipe line and jobs again, stand for it. They are killing our energy and our jobs.

      @@barbdallaire7758 The pipeline is nationalized by the Canadian government you dunce.
      Most of that money goes to the Trudeau government and corporations.
      This isn't for the good of the people, but for the continued existence of corporatism.
      It's good money, but not everyone agrees on it. Stop acting like it's some eco-terrorist conspiracy and tackle it like the morally grey and complex issue it really is

    • @paigefredx
      @paigefredx 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@barbdallaire7758 Jobs are not worth destroying the environment. Pipelines destroy all the nature, animals, and water around. They are taking down so many trees, clear cutting areas. You can't live without fresh water and air. What's more important...Think about all the destruction to the natural world everyday already... No one will live in it if it keeps getting destroyed....think about your future family growing up.. . Not to mention the pipeline costs billions and keeps going up in costs...or maybe you want to live on a destroyed planet in oil spills, polluted air/water, and toxic waste 👍

    • @barbdallaire7758
      @barbdallaire7758 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@paigefredx Jobs are not destroying the environment. People are and pipelines are the safest way to get oil to market. Trucks or trains destroy the environment by spilling oil. Natives want the oil and Canada needs the Billions of dollars, so stop trying to blame the oil companies. They are doing a lot to keep nature thriving .Arab oil is conflict oil from a country who enslave women and give them no human rights. Canadian oil is the best and makes Canada prosperous with jobs so don't act like you know anything about it.

    "Indigenous peoples who oppose development projects on their traditional territories should never be met with violence for peaceful opposition. I join CERD in urging Canada to immediately cease the forced eviction of Wet’suwet’en and Secwepemc peoples, to prohibit the use of lethal weapons, and to guarantee no force will be used against them. This is a matter of fundamental human rights."

    The Government and the Corporations who want the pipeline don't care about Natives and they don't care about the settlers either.... they just want obedient slaves. How much resources are taken from Canada when non of the profit goes back to the people. If the government was actually for the people by the people we would all be rich. If we made even just the mining companies a coopertive where ALL profits go back to the people Canada, natives and settlers would be living in a much better country. Why don't they do it? They serve the NWO thats why...

      Indian Act chiefs are basically in Federal Government employees, created to enforce the Indian Act. Their jurisdiction doesn't extend to all the unsurrendered Wet'suwet'en territory - they can't give up the land on behalf of a whole Nation. Don't take my word for it - ask the Supreme Court of Canada and the United Nations
