Hey guys! I said never again...but its back! I did not cancel quick enough from last months unboxing so this time I paid the full $50 bucks for this box! What do you think is the WORST box we have ever done on this channel? Love ya💖
Honestly, I think the Trisha box was worse because a lot of that was just objective junk. This box is not well done, but at least the skincare products seem decent enough to actually be used. That said, this sucks.
If I’m paying for a staycation box, I’d rather have a trashy romance novel, piña colada mix, lots of chocolate, and maybe a face mask. Definitely not what was in that box. I’d say cancel it Alexandria!!!
It was such a cute idea, but they completely failed to create any sort of mini-vacay! And what you describe is not super expensive, they could have easily done that (minus the chocolate, which doesn't ship well, but more stable fruity candy or fun snacks would work great).
Literally... what's with all the skincare in this one? Unless you're a complete newbie, you probably already have products that you like and use regularly. What am I gonna do with a whole extra bottle of toner from an unknown brand? Even more so if you have sensitive skin 😑 it's not like makeup where you might want to try out different colors, styles, etc. Who is this box even for?
Now I want to invent a real staycation subscription...I m even thinking of different monthly themes lol...road trip, home spa day, day at the pool/lake/seaside, hiking/park day, shopping day, walking tour day, reading binge day, gourmet day, etc etc
That would be so cute. Winter boxes with lots of cozy things, some of those cute REUSABLE pretty hot packs, lots of moisturizing things to combat dry skin in the winter months, things like that that actually feel Staycation-Esq, get really cozy and self care-y

they should def try to put in a different snack that not only fits the theme way better, but also doesn't have a main ingredient that is an extremely common allergy..
That charcoal soap sponge from daily concepts is the sample or travel size, ive gotten it free as a gift with purchase at Ulta. The full size is currently $5 at Ulta, so no way is that tiny thing worth $10. This is definitely the worst box ever!
Full size is 45g, so that's full size, but you're right on the price. You can also get like 3/$10 on Mercari. I liked the sponge, but it's not worth much and you could buy it yourself literally anywhere.

Oh my gosh Alex. About 3 yes ago I was subscribed to a beauty box called BABE BOX. Those eye patches are from "their brand and I got them one month. Did not like those patches AT ALL. Mine were expired,didn't notice they were expired until AFTER I used them. Needless to say they burned my skin . Worst eye patches I ever tried. 😫
The second I saw that last item I knew it was a colouring book. My Aunty was OBSESSED with them for years. You'd think they'd give you some coloured pencils or pens 🤷♀️

I searched Saint Luxe a long while ago (pre Covid) and it sure sounded like one of those companies that get their products from Ali Express or something like that then they resell under their name. Babe brand used to belong to Babe Beauty box which was a lot like a box full of stuff from the dollar store too so I don't know how current those eye patches are. Or if their box even still exists. It would be fun to see an exposé from Detective Alexandria on these companies😁 Happy belated birthday!!🎉🎉
There is no way i’d use those eye gel pads near my eyes. I’d want to know what it was made off, the place it was made and what ingredients are in them. Having dupe products are ok, but you want to know they are safe to use. And i have very little confidence in the suppliers of this box.
Often those mini coloring books are as random as they are (even with a theme of 'flowers') because it's all the free-source clip-art the publisher can find, but also because sometimes it's stolen art that's then altered to remove the detail and just leave linework for coloring in.

I tried to Google those “Babe” under eye patches, and for an “award winning US brand, they have no web presence I could find. All I could find is resale on those products and places like Mercari and eBay and Poshmark and they came from beauty type subscription boxes. Seems a little sketchy. 🤷♀️
The fact that they had cuticle cream in the last box probably isn’t an issue for them because most people don’t pay for a second month of this crap. Just forgetful busy people who didn’t cancel 😂

I'm pretty sure the Daily Concepts brand is from... Walgreens? I want to say? I've seen it in a drugstore or TJ Maxx-like setting before. This box has no theme. There are a couple of things that start to get there, but they don't bring it home at all, and the choices are kind of cheap or highly inflated. Thanks for continuing to include puppy beans in the background. They bring me joy.

I know. My husband went to a conference and one of the companies gave him a small coloring book/notebook with small colored pencils. I have even bought a dollar tree book and then better pencils for about 6 from the craft store. This box was just lazy.

Yeah I got most of these products when I had my singles swag subscription, it was actually better I believe. We would always find the snacks at least at the dollar tree but I did get some useful things in it though.
My small dog Addison is poodle Shitz mix she loves a good chap stick. I couldn’t think how she was opening them but found her one day rolling on the floor so I thought what are you doing she jumped up and she had a chap stick. She just rolls on it till the top comes off keeps rolling until, the chap stick comes out and she eats it. So I keep my chap sticks out of reach she can also use her little paws to scoop things off my coffee table.
yep. another "singles swag" box. I ticked off most of the items in there already in my house from previous singles swag boxes from last year. I wore the necklace to work a couple of times and gotten compliments on it.
I remember having to part back together a plastic single use shopping bag as my cat goes bonkers for them. I mean she will do anything for a bite. Thankfully its just that one kind of plastic and she threw up the remnant she did eat. And yes I absolutely did piece back together that part as well since exploratory surgery is not only risky but damn expensive so vomit plastic puzzle time it was. We did get it all
When I first saw you hold up the coloring pad my first thought, without knowing what it was, was "5 Below sticker sheet booklet" lmao! Coloring pad is... nicer, but couldnt they have even included some crayola pencils or something???
So... I like single swag 😎 but I'm in Australia and we don't have great options for subscription boxes. However stuff you received last month off the top of my head the massage roller and this month the necklace I received like 18 months ago. I also got that same kind bar last month in singles swag. Also the colouring book I got that two months ago and I've definitely had the eye masks recently and the cuticle cream 😅😅😅 so there is definitely repeats. I think if we had the options you do shipping wise I might feel different but for what I have access to I enjoy it.
I had singlesswag and didn't mind it cause they constantly had 40% off for subscriptions and ended up paying about $22 a box. Canceling was easy but the products were really repetitive.
Ok but I got an adult coloring book that was sacred geometry themed from 5 below that has that exact butterfly page in it. That book is probably just made with free designs and that's why they don't match each other
When you opened the first one I knew immediately it was the same as the Singles Swag box I got for a few months. I got the same vitamin C moisturizer and I also got the necklace you got in this box and the cuticle cream. All of the boxes, except one, came with a Kind bar. The bar I did eat, the non Kind one, was expired. I did get a couple of books, only read one and it actually was good. But overall I was never excited by the box and I can't eat Kind bars and one of my other jewelry item was broken, so I stopped getting it.
Between the dollar store quality products and people saying they couldn't cancel, I'm getting some Oui Please vibes right now. But at least the box came, so there's that.
That saint lux brow gel is amazing It it better than anything I've ever used It gives you a laminated look and keeps your brows up If you don't want i would love go have it haha xxx
My cat is the same way as your dog lmfao. Vince's tail looks like a raccoon tail and my god will he dig through your trash to find that wrapper you threw out a month ago to get the last crumbs at the very bottom, and you can't leave dishes to wash in the sink because he'll lick them clean 😂 We call him our little trash panda because of it.

yep. another "singles swag" box. I ticked off most of the items in there already in my house from previous singles swag boxes from last year. I wore the necklace to work a couple of times and gotten compliments on it.

I remember having to part back together a plastic single use shopping bag as my cat goes bonkers for them. I mean she will do anything for a bite. Thankfully its just that one kind of plastic and she threw up the remnant she did eat. And yes I absolutely did piece back together that part as well since exploratory surgery is not only risky but damn expensive so vomit plastic puzzle time it was. We did get it all
When I first saw you hold up the coloring pad my first thought, without knowing what it was, was "5 Below sticker sheet booklet" lmao! Coloring pad is... nicer, but couldnt they have even included some crayola pencils or something???
I got that toner in a single swag box probably 2-3 years ago 😂 (and I think the eye patches too)

So... I like single swag 😎 but I'm in Australia and we don't have great options for subscription boxes. However stuff you received last month off the top of my head the massage roller and this month the necklace I received like 18 months ago. I also got that same kind bar last month in singles swag. Also the colouring book I got that two months ago and I've definitely had the eye masks recently and the cuticle cream 😅😅😅 so there is definitely repeats. I think if we had the options you do shipping wise I might feel different but for what I have access to I enjoy it.

I had singlesswag and didn't mind it cause they constantly had 40% off for subscriptions and ended up paying about $22 a box. Canceling was easy but the products were really repetitive.

Ok but I got an adult coloring book that was sacred geometry themed from 5 below that has that exact butterfly page in it. That book is probably just made with free designs and that's why they don't match each other

When you opened the first one I knew immediately it was the same as the Singles Swag box I got for a few months. I got the same vitamin C moisturizer and I also got the necklace you got in this box and the cuticle cream. All of the boxes, except one, came with a Kind bar. The bar I did eat, the non Kind one, was expired. I did get a couple of books, only read one and it actually was good. But overall I was never excited by the box and I can't eat Kind bars and one of my other jewelry item was broken, so I stopped getting it.

My cat is the same way as your dog lmfao. Vince's tail looks like a raccoon tail and my god will he dig through your trash to find that wrapper you threw out a month ago to get the last crumbs at the very bottom, and you can't leave dishes to wash in the sink because he'll lick them clean 😂 We call him our little trash panda because of it.
Honestly, I'd watch more unboxing of this box just for the laughs, though I'd feel bad that you were spending $50 on it 😂.
