Just to be clear, the only things that came in the box were the mug, blanket, glass ball, bookmark, popper, and artwork. We paid for this box in April, it was supposed to ship in July, didn't ship until December, and there are still a whole lot of people who haven't even received tracking numbers yet. LitJoy has said they will continue shipping "over the coming weeks." So, end of January for some. It's ridiculous and unacceptable. Plus, they promised 7 items when we purchased the box and they only delivered six. They turned one of the items (pin) that was supposed to be included in the box into an add-on for us to pay extra for. Many of us feel taken advantage of and unappreciated after pouring a ton of money into their company over the past few years. All of that said, I want to thank YOU Cherry for bringing me so much joy with your wonderful unboxings and magical content over the past few years! I absolutely love your channel and YOU have brought so much light into my life! Watching you unbox LitJoy's boxes, especially the early ones, has been so much fun! And, I also adore your new content and vlogs so I won't be going anywhere! Thank you for all the magic, Cherry! (I feel a little bit like Mrs Weasley sending a howler to LitJoy and then ending it with, and Cherry dear, thank you so much for all of your amazing, magical content). 😂🤣
It sounds like they are having a hard time sustaining the quality of the past. It seems like subscription boxes are just not a great business model. So many of them start out strong and then lose quality over time. Even though you have had issues, it's nice to see that they are ending the boxes in a thoughtful and respectable way. So many subscription companies seem to just stop mailing boxes or virtually sneak off into the night.

Feel you completely! There should have been at least one kind of replica from the books or the movies to make a deep impact on this box. Add ons do not count at all. I think, they have had some very very strong items in the past - Neville's rememberall being just one of them. It would have been nice, if they would have come up with something similar for their very last box. But I guess, they are quitting for a reason. They are out of ideas and they can't just afford to keep up the quality anymore - eventhough they are very expensive! So now there is no other box left on the HP market except for Wizarding Trunk. Hope that they won't go down the same route.
@@katharinak7762 Yes, it would have been nice to end with a stand out replica. The rememberall and golden egg were so good! The rememberall is probably my favorite of all time from them. Wizarding Trunk seems to just be getting better with their quality and they don't seem to be having a hard time getting their items, shipping on time, or coming up with new ideas. So, fingers crossed. There is also Magic Delivered, but I haven't subscribed to them yet.

Perhaps it's from the large influx of new customers or an increase in greed but the quality is simply not the same as it used to be. And I've always found the Add-On system gimmicky because they always put the best items as "Add-ons" to make people pay more if they want them when their boxes are already pretty pricey to begin with. Their other subscription boxes are decent, it's just the Magical subscription. I'm glad this line is no longer continuing.
I really like lit joy boxes. But this one felt a little empty without the add-ons. The items where nice but very few compared to the rest of the mystery boxes 😕
I watched your video's for years! Thats why i decided to finally get this last box but it was really dissapointing because you got alot more items then we did i only had the blanket,mug,christmas cracker and the crystal ball i expected so much more it seems amazing on video when they do give influencers a totally diffrent treatment then us paying customers.
If I recall correctly - it's been a while since I got their subscription box -- the puzzles and keys have always been "add on" items. that you have to pay extra for. I decided that it was more cost-effective for me to watch unboxings then wait for the items to show up in the store so I could just get the items I really wanted.

The spoiler card is misleading. ALL of the keys and the puzzle are add ons. This box only had 6 items. Not worth the $150 aud I had to pay. Super disappointing final box.

I was VERY disappointed with this box. I wonder if maybe they decided to end the HP boxes because it was costing them more than they were earning in revenue. I was really sad to see them end it but if they could no longer keep up with the quality or amount then it was the best thing to do. I DO hope they continue with individual items in the shop.
When I opened this box I was so disappointed. I was expecting so much from the last magical box from Litjoy, especially after starting all these boxes amazingly. I have to say, when I opened this box, I was sooo disappointed. I was expecting so much more from This box, especially as it was the final one. The only thing (other than the add-ons) I liked was the lite up globe! They hyped it up so much and then it was so blah!!! 😢
I was disappointed too. I’ve been subscribed since the beginning and it was pretty clear the last few boxes that they spent more attention on the add ons than what was in the box. I had such high hopes for this last box and it was bittersweet that I didn’t like everything.
A sad day indeed, LJ has always been my favorite HP subscription box.😢 But I think their glory days are behind them, as the last few boxes have seemed somewhat skimpy as far as number of items. However, their keys still remain un-rivaled!🔑 Also loved the bookmark.

Cherry, I very much enjoy your videos and want to believe your reviews are honest whether sponsored or not, but I really wish you would’ve been more explicit/transparent about which items were actually included in the box and which were add-ons. I know this box is sold out and it’s also the last one, so perhaps it doesn’t really mater, but me and so many others had been disappointed with litjoy for a good while (I felt like I was paying for the boxes only for the privilege of purchasing the add-ons, which is where most of the value and quality lies), so it feels a bit disingenuous to remember only the good parts. I get that your experience with them has been largely positive, but I can’t help think that you’d probably feel differently about the included value if you were purchasing the boxes yourself.
Cherry - I just want to thank you for always having the most wholesome and interesting content. I watch a lot of TH-cam, so sometimes I end up down some creepy rabbit hole of politics, crime, drama, lost hikers... you get it. It's so nice to have such a video bright spot in my subscriptions! ❤❤❤
I agree with others regarding the last box. I loved the blanket and mug with top. The rest were so-so in my opinion. I can’t afford the add-ones so I just got the box. I have loved the quality of their items and am sad to see them end the box. It would have been nice to get the puzzle as part of the regular box.

They have created some amazing magical items over the years and I hope they continue to do so and offer them in their online store. Especially the usable items such as pub mugs. Not only have they made wonder magical items, but also bookish ones from authors I enjoy as well.

This truly is sad. Litjoy was absolutely distinct in it's original concepts, creativity, and implementation that only passion could produce. Of all the boxes, they offered a stand-out of wit, whimsy, fun, & artistry that really felt magical. I'm so saddened that by the time I was ready to make the splurge & order myself a box...the grandiosity of this luxurious Titanic in the realm of subscription boxes began to take on water. I'd read comment after comment of people preparing to jump ship & I decided not to order a box. But I always wanted to. I'd hoped they could shut the water tight doors in time and do something to salvage this most magical of vessels. Something truly sinks within my heart to know that this is the final box... a box that went out with a bit of a whimper, but at least the folks at Litjoy have tried to fulfill obligations even as the ship sank. Years ago, there was another subscription box that just left people high and dry. I know how much heart the folks at Litjoy put into this craft. I really wish they could've kept this most magical of ships afloat as I do love their work.
I really enjoyed this video, much more than I enjoyed my LitJoy box😅. The past few boxes have been really lacking and repetitive (how many mugs do we really need?) I was hoping this last box would really be a nice send off for this series but it was pretty disappointing. I had planned on ending my subscription anyway so maybe it's better that they did it for me 😂
I also got the great hall pin as an add on. Wonder why Cherry didn’t get that but received all the other add-ons. The Malfoy Manner and Ministry key came under separate purchase. The Divination Key and Robes key were add-ons. And my bookmark was broken and my divination key was missing the ring rhinestone. LitJoy was so much fun in the past…..😢

Ditto. it's deceiving because the keys are listed on the card, but are not part of the box.
I think they decided to end the boxes because people got fed up with them putting most of the value and quality into add-ons, and not the actual box.
They should do away with the box (as they are) and sell each item on its own. I don’t do puzzles but wanted all the keys.

Sadly out of all the boxes I've had from litjoy I found this to be the weakest which is such a shame as have loved litjoy for years

That mug would make for a perfect tea mug. Put your loose leaf tea in a steeper, and then put the lid on it while it steeps. Sounds perfect!
I have to say I think enchanting her knitting needles counts as knit by Molly Weesley, especially when she has so many to knit for.

I have bought items al-a- carte on several occasions. But you could never get me to pull the trigger on a subscription because the box quality was so scattered.
