    Hi, Thanks for sharing.
I made my Burner bowel stand from a utensil caddy.
Like you felt the conical Burner bowel unstable.
Making another couple of stands from a conical Utensil Caddy. (Pound stretcher if boot fairs don't come up trunps)
Your bent in support ledges have had me rethinking a couple of ideas, thank you.
    Take care, best regards Colin

Great idea! It also keeps the fire box off the ground. Well done.

Awesome kit! This gave me an idea though:
Instead you might be able to use part of a paint can, or food can (maybe the ikea utensil strainer) as the burner and kettle stand, all in one. Just got to get one larger than the kettle diameter, so it nestles outside the kettle like your steel mesh ring.
Also, this showed me another of it's flaws - pouring. To solve that I suggest one of those Wine Pourer Discs. I got a pair of 5 for 1€. Check them out.
I've a hangeable pot as well, and I think It would be best to cook with the pot hung just above the kettle's chimney, though you'd need water constantly in there to keep cooking. Hanging it eliminates the need to have a potstand over the kettle, or the burner.
    Anywho, food for thought! Cheers

Thanks. I will look up the wine pourer disks. It's not a perfect product but it's compact and lightweight and my most used stove these days.

Definitely acceptable tradeoffs for almost half the weight of the other storm kettles out there.@@Gee-Man-Adventures Thanks for reading

I wonder if you could use your fire ring without the fire bowl?

Great fix to stop it tipping! Can you please tell me what the material was that you used? SS or Alu, thickness and holes diameter. There are a lot online to choose from and what you've used seems just right. Thanks

Yea man good idea. Nice. Still waiting to see you struggle with fitting snow thru that tiny hole. Why no spout? I wonder. It can be just a few mils. It'll be better. Love fried Spam.

You are right. A small spout would be better on this to help it pour better.
If I ever go to Finland, I will take a jetboil 😁
