To be honest it is a long time ago that I used a virtual box on my windows 10. The reason is that i like to keep my testing on a different machine. It also makes it easier to make tutorials otherwise my system would not keep up. Still using my good old i7-2600k has primary windows 10 workstation. Perhaps I will make a comparison video about this it sounds like a good idea. Thanks for watching the video.
Does the sound work through XRDP for you? I have almost the same install, POP OS 20.04 on XCP-NG 8.1 but I can't get sound to work. Sound comes up with Dummy Output.
To have sound you need VTd in the BIOS enabled (if it is supported) and pass through the sound device to the vm. But it will be hit or miss like it is most of the time with hardware pass through.
@@hometinylab VTd is Enabled. I have sound in Debian 10, Ubuntu 18.04 and windows 10 over RDP on XCP-NG 8.01. However No sound in Ubuntu 20.04 , POP OS 20.04 or Ubuntu 21.04. I get Dummy Output message. Also tried to reinstall Pulse Audio no luck. Is it xcp-ng 8.1 maybe not compatible? Do I need to upgrade to 8.2?

@@gman13737 the same issue with 8.2 no upgrade needed to solve this problem
