(Edit) I would honestly laugh my ass off if the citizens of Angel Grove blamed Matt for all the damages Tommy Oliver did when he was the green ranger
That would not surprise me honest. Citizens will blame blame the hero before the villain even tho the villain goes out of his or her way to kill them

Matt was based on a one scene character called Matt from Foul Play in the Sky who Kim flirted with. This was immediately pre-Tommy. Actor is unknown but appears to be the same actor who made it to the final B cast of what would be called MMPR who would have had Jason's role.
Thus it's feasible that this actor was considered for Green Ranger before they found JDF, thus his odd inclusion at the end of an episode as Kim's love interest - a trait that was later given to Tommy. They were trying to build up an appearance prior to the Green morph so it wasn't so sudden, but already had the episode in the can by the time they found JDF. This may explain the rushed way JDF himself is introduced.
I feel as if it’s a new beginning for a fan favourite which will also introduce a new generation to the awesomeness that we witnessed, and now we have the white and green together! What more could we want? Yeah Tommy is the OG and with his new alter form of Drakkon it’s nice to see that he’s not being over used. Plus if they killed the character off, maybe Tommy could fuse with dragon and tiger to make an alternate and ‘Good’ version of Drakkon.
Either way, keep the videos coming. I love Power Rangers and love the videos you keep putting out there every week.

Hey the 6th Ranger, I'm glad they technically canonized the Battinsun Green Ranger into the MMPR Universe! The Battinsun Green Ranger is my favorite version of the Green Ranger!😃

It's not the exact same design. The Batinthesun design has some differences.

Well I can say that I happy that the New Green Ranger turned out to be exactly who I thought all along it be but for one thing I know that Zordon isn't going to be happy about this not one bit cause a Power Rangers's Identity was suppose to remain secret and I am not sure how Matt going to get himself out of this one.
I'd feel more concerned about how Grace is going to respond, she did say that she had some rules that needed to be followed. If secret identity was one of them, Matt could be stripped of the GR powers.
@@zigzackb2036 well I hope not I've waited for years to all 7 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers together in the comics unlike the stupid mistake they made in the life action show of getting rid of the Green Ranger Powers instead of doing what we have now in the Comics by turning Tommy into the White Ranger and bringing in a New Green Ranger that way to have all 7 Mighty Morphin Rangers together.
After thinking about who it could be, he was the only possible choice. It had to be someone we already knew to have any weight and he just fits right in.
You know, had Zack seen the New Green Ranger reveal his identity, he probably would've been like:
"You really know how to pick them, don't you Kim?"

Okay but imagine if Drakkon were to come back or something and Tommy as the white ranger still isn’t powerful enough to defeat him. So Matt and Grace allow him to combine the white tiger power with the dragon power like how Drakkon did when he killed Jason-
So we have both of them with the combined powers of the Dragonzord and White Tiger- and they could make Tommy’s outfit look like a good version of Drakkons. Eventually, Tommy gives the dragonzord power up again and just continues on as the white ranger of course.
Can’t believe they’d tease us with a tiger zord/dragon zord fusion!

Zedd ain't playing this issue. But seriously, wouldn't it make more sense for Zedd to put the dome over the command center and have his putties attack the rangers? They said teleporting through the dome is difficult so they would escape very easily.

I'm disappointed with the new Green Ranger's Identity.
What does he bring to the table other than being another teenager? Kim's Ex? How long can they milk that? How was he able to defeat Zed so easily during their first fight? 6th Ranger Syndrome?
I'd rather have somebody out of the "high school circle' Coinless Billy. Drakkon. Scorpina. Even Zordon would have been better. It'd have paved the road for far better and more unpredictable stories.
For one thing I am glad that it's Matt and not Drakkon for one thing Drakkon as a Ranger has been nothing but trouble and death and Matt is a great who has been a big help to other Rangers.

A. An older, more experienced, more powerful alternate future of yourself. He has all knowledge about you and your team, but he's an evil warlord with a new set of upgraded powers. Tears apart Zed and now you have a total wild card. I'd welcome an evil ranger or chaotic Abarekiller if you watched Sentai.
