What has always been a wonderful hallmark of material from The Orb is that there is constant subtle variations moving within the piece, and this song has nuanced and delightful little swirls and bubbles tripping from start to finish. Gorgeous on the ears. Love this band with all of my tiny, black heart.
i woke up today (wed, 8/30/2023) & i realized that i had this album track playing on “brain repeat” for hours! thankfully, my pre-ordered CD was quick at hand to put it to a satisfied rest, of sorts.. so 12ish hours later, i returned to the “generative ai”-created video, & though these types of music videos seem to be “the new thing”, this is the only 1 i truly enjoy throughout.. i hope to see the Orb live for my … 7th time in my life… cheers!
You do realise don't you, that by placing all of your bass drummer's emphasis in one place - being directed towards the MIDDLE FRONT of the sound stage, that you will only be putting down 50% of the available sound stage on which to put bass. Putting backing tracks out to the sides also has the same effect, of pushing them into a nether region where they are lost because of the bass beats that everyone tends to concentrate upon. A far better way to create absorbing sounds, is to provide a separation of placements, whereby the bass beats in BOTH outer channels, is comprised of the beats from two completely different drummers, with their main "beat" being exactly half a sine way distant, from their other bass drummer's channel sine waves, providing a unique slip-slap of continuous bass sound levels, whilst each is actively heavy hitting in it's own right. The remastered (slight remastering) of the old version is OK, but it could have (still) been better ;-)

Conformist minds (those that lie socially to fit in and judge kindness and honesty in others) group together and share fear for an IMAGE of social strength mentally as individuals. Some people think thoughts of love, stay independent, and watch others socially. Others think thoughts of fear, let their minds race, and group together because they are afraid of being attacked socially. These individuals attack others for social independence (those that express more honesty - which is NO SUPPORT for human violence). This is exactly what is happening in society. CONFORMITY is the refusal to grow psychic out of fear, which drives the mind angry (mentally ill). When men give attention to those that they know are nothing like them in the mind, and the other person is avoidant, they are sharing jealousy, lying, and resentment. They want others to feel unfriendly while they smile. The idea will never work. They act this way so that other people will judge them socially so they can get “power”, which isn’t real at all. When people lie about what they are on the inside and focus on acting skills and head games, it creates anger (judgement) in others. It gives some personalities a false sense of “power”. When people share the same ideas mentally, and they are kind, then smiling (joy) is authentic. Everything else is forced acting, which is awkward, stressful, and strange. Love (honesty and respect) is the only TRUE version of reality. Love is telepathy. Christian men are being trained to hate on women since childhood. Christian dads set a poor example for all youth with violence and machismo. They hate their daughters especially. They train their sons to bully. It’s time for this BS head game (materialistic, shallow indifference and anger) to end for good. .,
