Hi Joni, I love the sky in this picture, so pretty! The hydrangeas are beautiful as well. Thanks for sharing
excellent 👍😍❤
This is going to be my next project. Had to order some paint since I did not have the colors. I just a beginner but I did do a painting based on your earlier work and it turned out great.
You can do it!
@@joniyoungart Thank you. I do believe I can.
@@joniyoungart Yes! I did do it and it turned out to be my own work with a excellent looking sky, background and 10 hydrangeas. In your video you spoke of the ph levels which makes them either blue or pink. So I included both types. Blue on the left and pink on the right and a few in the middle with a little of both. If I am fortunate enough in my video making endeavor, it will be shown on my channel with the other painting I did before this. Thank you for doing tutorials. It is appreciated.
wow that is a lovely painting. xx
Thanks so much 😊
I am going to be painting these .. love it❤❤❤❤
У вас очень красивые картины!
Thank you 😊
Please would you consider showing us how you would paint peonies, I love these flowers but find them very difficult to paint x
Working on it😉
Köszönöm, csodálatos!
Thanks 😊
Magnifique J adore très bonne Artiste merci pour cette leçon

So pretty 😍
Thank you!! 😊
you fixed my day.
Beautiful painting ❤😊
Thank you ☺️
So beautiful ❤❤
Thanks Jeanette
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you! 😊
Love the painting! The colors are magnificent! Question: Why did you paint the hydrangeas dark underneath versus white? I’m a novice painter and one teacher said if you want the color to pop, paint it white first. Just curious. Thanks for the great tutorial. Kindness, Teresa
If you are painting with some of the transparent hues over a dark canvas you need to give it a base of white so it shows up. She had a dark base under the hydrangeas...they didn't need white. Does that make sense? I'm sure Joni could explain better
@@jackiegarroutte8970 Sorry, I still don’t understand. You say Joni had a dark canvas so it didn’t need white. I thought dark color needs white to show up. Again just curious. Thanks, Teresa
Painting the dark first allows the shadows to come forth than adding the highlights brings it all together. When you do highlights first than the shadows can cause a mudding mess. I don't think any of the colors she use are transparent hues if you look at the colors she uses they are the basic colors. All I can say is try using the white first then the darker, than try doing the darker colors as your shadows and add the highlights and see for yourself what works best for you. oh also her background canvas was a light gray than she added the sky colors the bottom colors green and dark green gave the presents of shadows for the flowers and using the darker shades helped bring forth the highlights. Hope this helps, everyone has there own way of creating there is no wrong way only how each person choses how to create.
@@dianadee8595 Thank you so much for your explanation. I’m just learning so this helps.
Very pretty
Thank you! 😊
Hey lady...i love your all painting videos.❤

Well we're having a winter storm here here in Michigan and I'm not getting that well of reception and I can't get the video to play it just keeps breaking up on me so I will try to save it and come back to it the storm is really getting bad.
I want to buy another set of brushes, are you still selling? I fell in love with the filber and liner brush
They’re currently sold out ❤️
Do you happen to have a tutorial on the pale blue-green hydrageas?
Not yet, I’ve been planning one so stay tuned! 😊
👍👍👋🌹
Could i paint this with gouache the same way as you did? Thank you for the video. I really enjoyed it!
Yes you can!
Pour toute cette aide ❤
you may think this is a daft question! but does it matter if you sit or stand when painting?
It doesn’t, it’s personal comfort and preference 😉
I tried the tutorial of crowd in the night rain...
Its very beautiful🥹💜
Thank you! 😊
Bardzo piękne.
Thanks barbara!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you Joni beautiful tutorial, I learn so much from you. What brand is your 50 filbert please? X
Thanks! The brushes don’t have any name or brand, only the number.. try Michaels or Amazon 😉
Unfortunately I’m in the uk!
Ur super awesome
Question- how do u think this would look on a long canvas
Great! In fact I’ve done it on a 10x20 and it turned out quite nice. Lilacs as well😉
Love your art joni but I very confused. You use water to help spread paint. Another artist says never use water only medium. Help.❤😂❤😂❤😂❤😂
Water for acrylic, oil is different😉
Sehr sehr schõn
👏👈👈👈
I use your 14 filbert and your technique, and yet my flowers do not look like yours?
Practice, you’ll get there 🖌️😉
What tutorials do you recommend for beginners with no experience and not much talent
I create all my tutorials for beginners, pick one, paint along and enjoy 🤗
