@@BatMando-Gaming As I fly Darth Vader "Black Leader" pilot, when it comes to Tie fighters "Mauler" Mithel (BOY) or "Backstabber" As the combination of this 30 is very deadly when played correctly.
Absolutely. That may be the deadliest trio in the game.

The best thing about seeing an Epic Empire build is the number of TIEs on the table.

I can't find anywhere that says Howlrunner can buff herself, just friendly ships. Is there somewhere in the rules I may be missing? Enjoying this series BTW..
As you read the ability on the pilot card, it is inferred with at range 0-1. Howlrunner is in range 0 of herself and can use her own ability.
@@BatMando-GamingThanks for the reply. I guess my hang up is friendly ships. I would have interpreted that as other ships and not necessarily hers. Didn't know if there was a rule if at range 0 it will include that cards ship. I'm relatively a new player so trying to learn. I've found interpreting the some cards challenging.
It can be tricky. The judges at our contests have held this interpretation. The silly explanation I have heard is that you are friendly to yourself.
How viable do y'all think 7-8 TIE swarm is viable in 2.5?
Personally, I think a 7 or 8 ship swarm can be risky and less rewarding because running into your own ships increases the amount of damage you can suffer before you get to shots.
I am a fan of the 5 ship lists and think they are more viable in the scenario play.
I do remember the days of the 8 First Order TIE Swarm and it was brutal.
