- A full day spent ultralight fishing a quality stream for some trout, and putting in some work to clean up trash along the bank. The day wasn't quite smooth sailing, but man was it a good one.

Bummed you lost the big brownie but this honestly looked like a blast either way. You better return and try some creek chub imitations - those big browns eat them up like candy.
The amount of close contacts with animals that day was crazy.
It was a bummer, but it was definitely an excellent day. I will have to try matching the hatch with a creek chub lure then, can't believe it never occurred to me that they would be devouring chubs.
Now I’m very curious if you’ve ever put a creek chub in a hot dog bun 😂
