Some lovely thoughts showing great respect for a peculiarly English choral tradition that whilst being kept alive in places like Norwich Cathedral, sets a standard across England that is rarely equalled anywhere in the world. My only thought is that besides the building, the music set in the context of the unmatched beauty of the services and language of the Book of Common Prayer, makes for an uplifting experience, regardless of any denomination, religion, or none.
As an old chorister (Peterborough) I am a bit worried by the energetic use of Incense during Choral Evensong. If any of the Choristers - men or boys - have a chest complaint this could bring on an asthma attack. Please consider this! Otherwise your choral singing is wonderful - and, due to the pandemic, we, your listening public, are getting a wonderful series of Organ Recitals and beautifully presented Choral Services. Thank you! I do hope this will continue after the Pandemic.

God Bless you Ashley
