Ive watched a handful of these videos, and I dont understand whats going on. is this game going to be this complex to play when its out? or is this him crreating and working on finishing the game?

It's the creating (and designing) phase of the game and there is still a long way to go, at least an additional year, before a "final" version will be released. These videos are meant to show how a (standalone) programmer is working, not the actual gameplay.

@@gehteuchnixan8256 I wasnt judging, or trolling I just didnt understand if I understood correctly. Im very excited for the idea of a new space game. will people be able to assist and not everyone have their own ship if its MP, its like almost every game I find forces me to pilot and captain, i cant just help out on someone elses ship.

The main premise is that you are a crew member on board 1 ship and everyone will join that ship but there are different roles like scientists and security and engineers
