you have got some really good ideas and i have brought myself a staff planner as well and its been a really helpful piece of equipment for me to stay organized and stress free
I love the emphasis you put on waiting to see what your school provides. Another point that has been floating in my brain is that the room or furniture may already have a strong colour scheme - so you may want to wait and chose or make things that are neutral or compliment that (eg: Bright coloured walls, or tables). Also those four colour pens. From another lanyard I got a little clasp that has a string on it that you can put through the loop on the top and then I can have it hanging on my lanyard and unclip it to write.
Oh yes, such a good point that I didn't even think of! I have seen some classrooms with such a strong colour scheme that you just have to embrace 😂 Thanks for sharing both tips! X
You can get the magic sponges in the pound shop for a pack of 2. I use them to get pen and pencil off my desks. Never thought to use it on my whiteboards though (I know what I'm doing next week 😂)
@@Anasuya87 I might go get some from Poundland for my kids to use! Get idea for the backing too, I always use wrapping paper and the brown parcel paper!
@@charinlondon I loved your Science, Maths and English printables- I'm going to laminate them so I can reuse them next year- who knows what year group I'll be in then! Thank you so much for all your videos- they bring so much joy and I've learnt so much! xx
Great advice! I would also add not to rush into subscribing to Twinkl etc. A lot of schools have their own subscription that you can use! I learnt this the hard way!!
I am really enjoying your videos, very honest, real and helpful, definitely taking tips into my ECT year(s) in September. Thank you and keep the videos coming :)
I have been teaching for ten years and have spent so much time scrubbing off white board markers from things. I’ve used so many different things like cif etc. I’ve never thought of using those erasers, even though I use them all over my house 🤦🏻♀️
