Ohhh gosh I’m forgetting Darlene Martin!!! Shame on me! When I was in second grade,I was inspired to draw a valentine to her! It was October,but nevertheless,I asked her if she would be my valentine!! She was absolutely charmed,and came over to me,and gave me such a smoch! The whole classroom went “Ooooooh! “ Ha!” My dearest Mrs.Martin. I will always remember her! ❤️
Oh!! Funny additional story about Mrs.Martin! One day,after recess,we all came back in,but Mrs.Martin was nowhere to be seen! As a group,in a remarkable bit of improvisation,we imagined that Mrs. Martin had shrunk! When she finally showed up,we all said to her that we thought she had shrunk! She said”I most certainly did NOT shrink!” I daydreamed about her miniaturizing for years! Tiny Mrs.Martin 🥰
