Peter, you are such an excellent teacher! Your knowledge of and enthusiasm for the subject matter are infectious, and they keep the audience so enticed and engaged. Thanks so much for this extra treat!
I am glad you liked it. I was hoping the idea was a good one to do this, with everyone sort of stuck at home it seemed like the optimal time. Take advantage of the time off while things get resolved. Best Peter
Dear Mr Combs, it's such a treat to listen to your videos! Thank you so much for the interesting guided tours around these amazing collections. Your comments are very clear and pertinent. I'm a big fan :)
Hi Maria, Glad you like them and we;'l keep at it. As I don't use a script for 99.9% of the content I'm always afraid I might be a bit of a ramble for the viewers...especially the longer ones.. Best Peter
@@PeterCombs The fact that you are talking off the cuff armed with the historical knowledge and clear passion for what you do....not to mention you MUST enjoy sharing...welk add all that up and i promise its why we all like you so much. Pls don't hold back!!

The painting on the Ming Dynasty chicken cup is amazing. The feathers on the rooster looked as though if you touched them they would be so soft! Absolutely an amazing collection Peter. Thank you for sharing!
Peter you are a life saver. Just what the doctor ordered as we all have to self isolate. An amazing museum tour which is made better if possible by your wonderful commentary! Thank you!
Thanks so much, its an extraordinary museum. I think we might do more on these kinds of collections. So far this one has been well received by everyone. Have a good weekend and week...Peter

And i really loved discovery you and all your videos. After work i was so excited when i saw a new and longer video!!! Thank you, sir
It would be fantastic if you would do another virtual trip of the collection at the British Museum. And if I can make a request then it would be great to hear more about their Ru pieces.
Thank you so much for this! I'm doing my BaHonours in Design and research project on Qing Hwa Ceramics, and this is so helpful to finding the right photos to their respective dynasties
You're welcome Drew. BTW I liked your Starbucks Logo Video...interesting story. We'll be doing more on Museum and Institutional Collections...seems our visitors like this one. Best regards, Peter
Frankly I lose track of the time when doing them as I use very few notes and have no script in most of the videos. Doing them the way we do makes the time pass very quickly..Best Peter
17mins Geware the iron and gold line we call it 金丝铁线。 If take a carefully look at the lines。We can find horizontal lines do not intersect。 I must say, that cup is so great! Take good care of yourself during this coronavirus Peter。
I've been to this museum several times. One used to be able to throw a bowling ball down the hallway and not hit anyone. But that's not the case anymore.... Can you do more tours of the National Palace Museum. It's really a lot more enjoyable hearing you explaining each piece than read off descriptions on the website. Thanks for the video.
Most I know are very private and are not generally inclined to allow their collections to be made public. However, we can do more on Museum collections. Best Peter
I have a teacup? that has a small piece of paper with it that says it is 17th century excavated in Seoul Korea while building US embassy. How would I go about getting it authenticated ?
