  • Allison teaches the all-important technique of line-brushing and line-combing, this time with a drop-coated breed! Today’s model is Rico the Havanese, but this tutorial applies to all drop-coated breeds, such as Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terriers, Skye Terriers, Bearded Collies, and many more!
Don’t forget to always use a brushing spray (never brush dry coat!), brushes with ‘rounded and grounded’ pins, and that your brushes have no bent or missing pins.

WHY use a spray?? I've been grooming my dogs for over 25 yrs and never had to use a spray. Please don't spread the front legs apart while brushing

Using a spray protects the coat from breakage. I never brush or comb without using it.
