Great video mate. I have a Stor cabinet that looks exactly the same as this. If I wanted to replace the lock what would I be looking for? Is it a specific named style of barrel? thanks
I have never taken the lock out after picking. But is much like a bullet lock and spring loaded . Do you have a key for your lock mate, and is there a number on the front of the lock or on the key?
Too right Don.... Lovely lock cabinet with a nice little lock, as you say, they do not make them like that any-more. My good friend Sonic will call it "Old Crap" LOL!!!!
waddac2 haha! Well yeah, maybe but they were made to last. If they had today's technology & materials and made them solid like they used to, that'd be awesome.😁 Thanks for sharing this beauty.😎👍🏽
It is a great old cupboard unit Merlin. I love it to bits. Like I said in the video, when picking it at work the lock sprung out at me.... Thought it was going to take my Eye out. LOL!!!!
Sorry for the delay in replying as TH-cam is screwed up and I do not get video comments to my personal email for some reason. I have never had the need to use an electronic pick gun on wafer locks as they are easy to open most of the time, but after you saying it, I have to give it a go and see what happens ;o))))
Nice little storage unit for your locks, useful. I got one of those locks in my collection, looks like your the works locksmith as they have turned to you a few times LOL. Glad to see more of your vids. And always like the sharp photos at the end of your vids! Keep em coming :)
Thanks Tony. Yes I am work locksmith when asked... but funny when I am not in as they will call a smith out who says it may need a drill and new lock ££££££££ I have then ben asked to pick same lock and done so and changed it LOL!!!! Thanks for kind words as always my friend regarding video and photos. On a different note... My lad was sledging today and used a Lamp Post as an Air Bag... has a lovely scar on his head which I tended to and still keeping an eye on. With snow and blood, many panicked on the hill.
waddac2 ouch not good! However I bet he loved playing with you in the snow! They used to drill the soft metal on top of the cabinet and then push down the spur at the end of the lock and then they would pop open. There's a similar cabinet that takes the disk tumbler lock. Years ago I had the opportunity to mess around with these as there was so many and I worked out the master key system. Which is handy for a quick opening if needed. Enjoy the snow, looking forward to your next vid...
My lad is fine today and wanted to HEAD out again to sledge... Pardon the pun LOL!!!! I told him the wound does not want to get wet for a few days. He is happy on his XBOX though. Great info about the locks too buddy, thanks for sharing info Tony ;o))))
Thanks Jerry. Storage is not great as think it was designed for A4 paper, but yes I can fit a few bits in it if stacked right. I have a first aid case in bottom draw in-case I cut myself again. LOL!!!!
That was a nice picking my friend :-) Great to see a picking of a real "thing" . The pictures clearly show the beauty of this lock. So you have to pick this lock every time you wanna access your belongings? ;-)

Yes..... That is why I love to collect vintage locks as machinery back then was not like it is now. Good old PROPER locks ;o))))
Nice....have you tried a bypass on it yet???
Thanks buddy. I do not bother too much with bypass as just like to spp most and odd rake video in the past etc
How awesome is that?!! Too bad my work has it's own locksmith so not much chance of that here. He is retiring soon though. :)

Nice one buddy,if you havnt got the key don't forget to keep a pick to hand and not put them all in the draws 👍👍😎🔓🤔🤔😉😂😂😂
LOL!!!! I have my work back up picks, in-case some one thinks.... "What will happen if I push this shiny thing" LOL!!!!
Would love to see an electric pick gun vs a wafer lock! Any chance of making a video like that? Thank you for the great videos!

Brilliant work as always.
Thanks buddy. It was fun ;o))))
Nice video. So now you have to pick it every time you need some stuff? 🤔 I hope you don't store your picks in it 🤣
Cheers mate... Left it open after picking. If I need stuff, I just ask my wife ;o)))) Hope you are well mate. Snow has been bad here.
Great job my friend.
Thanks buddy, much appreciated ;o))))
Are you a school or college care taker by any chance...
Great guess and correct in a way. I am a Security Officer for a large College.
