Forget the speedo not being accurate... the fuel gauge... isn't even there. Even though the tank cap is right there, and a twisty fuel gauge could go right in it. I think I'll just go up one tire size to make the speedo more accurate if that is a problem.
Good video. I’m thinking about getting a speed healer for my 04 vtx. I just did the steering stem bearings and used the tapered ones from all balls and can’t recommend them enough. It only took me a couple hours. The hardest part was making the bike stable on the stand.
I have steering stem bearings here ready to put in. Mine aren’t bad yet but I want to replace them before they go bad. I will be putting in the All Balls too.
You do realize the gps speed on your phone is not accurate. Your best method is finding mileage, markers and timing yourself or finding a LE that would be willing to help you calibrate it when you have new tires on the bike.
The flaw I think they should have corrected is the fork bearings, or neck bearings as some people call them. In my opinion you should not be replacing bearings at 15,000 miles.
@relevation0 The bearings wear and can cause handle bar shakes. One of their weak spots. Replacement bearings solve the problem, but it is a bigger job to replace them.

I put one on mine and my brother’s VTX. It works great.

Just got mine today (SpeedHealer) haven't installed yet. I've got the same bike as yours in black.
I think you are going to like it. Mine works great and was really easy to install.
What floorboards and controls are you using?
They are the stock controls that come on the 1300r model.
@10:34 using same smartwatch face.
I have an 06..and my speedometer is off by 7mph

It seems like all motorcycle speedometers are incorrect
Ridiculous that you have to do this just to correct something Honda should have never manufactured

@@OnTheEdgeNow ? What's up with their bearings? Wondering because I'm about to buy an 05 with 16k miles....
