"he's just making it to where his heart is" jelly is so tuned into emotions and that's why everyone loves the guy.
Post malone is a genuine person. Down to earth and his music writing is very bendable and that's rare in music and writing lyrics.
Yes, but Beyoncee is a good actor and she knows country music lovers actually pay for their music. 🤌💰
his music is average
To be fair writing ain't that hard to shift thru genres if you just know kinda the looked rhytm and do listen differend genres aka know what are the topics.
Say like if you are a tehchnical and good writer with rap (don't even need to be technical but it helps, need to just tone it down), then you can just write whatever. Like do a generic break up song in more so poem form and then mold it into a song form. You get a knack on it quite fast.
Learn to sing and prefferably to learn guitar and that's that. Post Malone can do those two things in rudamentary fashion and that's enough. Most don't go across genres for not having the need to do that. Since if you make it in one and keep on honing that, it's achieved a lot already and they usually have passion for That genre. Still you can see that say Ed Sheeran can rap or Miley Cirus to do country or pop. It really is not that crazy. Other reason why many doesn't do it is because they are a brand with what they do.
That's why when some teen star turns into adult they need this some song that shows that the image has been changed (with Miley it was just her trying to get from under Disney and it was succesfull)(To todays standard it is nothing.. but only maybe the photoshoot with her hand inside underwear.. you know). Then the music can change a bit but not genre really. Still like if Ariana Grande would suddenly do saaay a metal album with whole band, it wouldn't match the brand so the label wouldn't put it out. It's more so early on being able to make audience accustomed to you changing genres. Then you can change in between more fluently since it's expected. Kinda like Mgk, he can do a pop-punk or a rap tour and it's just a bit differend audiences where even there usually is cross-over.
Nah man he’s reading his script and doing as he’s told like the rest of them
@@mannyalvarez4454 He can make a good hook, get that recall going in your head
I don't need to compare anyone with anyone. We're all unique and all human. I let the music speak for itself.
Comparison is the thief of joy
I cant help but compare how jelly is 3x the size of the host 😂
Best comment on here
@@Skunkhunt_42I know right! I saw that and was like “Jesus, look at the size difference.”
@@bodhi419and much more
I'm not super into country music myself but even I like Post Malone's country songs way more than his pop stuff. I'm eagerly anticipating his country album!
Jelly Roll just made me smile with his answer on what song makes him stop in his tracks. Tracey Lawrence is my all time favorite country singer and has been that way since I first heard him. How a Cowgirl Says Goodbye is just an instant classic and Jelly Roll is a true Tracey fan because that is not one of the most prominent songs from Tracey.
I remember 10 years ago saying taylor swift isn't country. None of my friends have apologized. It's calssified based on what the artist calls it. Not what it is. There is way more pop music on country stations than there is country.
well not anymore, her first album is quite literally country pop.
That’s literally the opposite of how things work.
It’s called country because the musical structure is a country structure.
You probably think men can “become women” too, huh?
You’re obviously one of those confused modern kids.
❤❤she do pop❤❤ like Ariana grande music n stuff
But I fok wittit
Why would your friends apologize?
It’s time for a Posty and Jelly collab 💕
Been saying this for years..
@@themeparkblondie Same!
Jelly, Post, Shaboozy, it would be an earth shattering country, rap, trifecta
100 !!!
Post and Jelly TOUR is all I'm sayin
Postys music isn't my thing, but im a fan because everything I've seen of him, he's such a genuine person.
Same exactly. I just don't like that pop hip hop stuff, it's not my thing it's like the junk food of music, but anyway yeah, I've seen him do acoustic covers and short videos like some girl gave him a pair of shoes as a gift one time and he was so grateful he didn't know what to do, so he gave her the shoes right off of his feet! What a legendary human being.
Post Malone’s brief appearance in the new Road House 2024 was great, and he wrote and sang the theme song, which is just perfect for the movie. 😊
I’m a huge Post Malone fan. His transition to country music reminds me of an interview that Post did with Charlemagne The God. In the interview Charlemagne accused Post of being an appropriator of HipHop and Rap. A hefty accusation, which would have normally stumped a newly successful artist. However Post replied, stating that he has appreciation for the genres and was merely feeding back to the sound through inspiration.
Me, not being the biggest modern country fan. Am not quite looking forward to a full length country album by Post Malone. But I respect the fact that he’s following his heart.
I wouldn’t consider him an appropriator by any standard. He appears to be a class act genuine guy that just so happens to be successful.
He is the only artist that I have personally found worthy of idolization. And in my opinion following the contemporary legacy of John Lennon, Kurt Cobain and Marilyn Manson.
All of whom encapsulated a period of human history through their music and became table talk while keeping true to what they do.
As for country… There are a few songs that stop me in my tracks. Tammy Wynette’s song Stand By Your Man.” Willie Nelson “Always On My Mind.” Kenny Rogers “The Gambler.” George Straight “All My Ex’s Live In Texas.” To name a few. And of course the entire catalog of both Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash.
the song that always stops me in my tracks is definitely "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" which is, in fact, the perfect country music song.
Only because they something about mama a train and being drunk.
a truck and prison lol
I prefer the original version of if that ain't country
@@Chris-lv2wq oh snap we got an edgelord! but yes, that song kicks ass lol DAC is my all time favorite country music songwriter. dude is absolutely bats#!t but a total genius. i'll have big respect for Coe forever.
@@ghost_to_a_ghost I wouldn't call that edgy I'd call it not being a conformity pussy
RW Hampton’s “Born to be a Cowboy”; Marty Robbins “Big Iron”; Ronnie Milsap’s “Smokey Mountain Rain”; Michael Martin Murphy’s “Carolina In the Pines”… some cowboy music sprinkled with a pop country song by Ronnie and Michael. This is my definition of classic stop you in your tracks songs.
Mr Jelly Roll, I absolutely love your voice!!! I remember seeing you on Vice back in the day!!! So proud of you, and so happy for you're success, you truly are such a natural talent!!! Thank you for all of your hard work and for sharing your voice with us!!! This was a great interview, well done!!! Looking forward to following Jelly Rolls career 😊......
Is this full pod out somewhere?
My daughter is 5 years old and when i pick her up for school shes yellin PLAY POSTY DAD!
Raising Her Right 💯
@@zionmartell42 I'll admit I've only heard his radio hits. But if that's what ya get with Post then nah he's not raising her right whatsoever. Unless he's trying to create a night walker
@@abunchahoopla4392 we only listen to his new country stuff. His rap is trash
@@omwtfym12 I'm sincerely glad to know. I have no idea on his country so will concede to that.
I think people should sing what they want if they wanna do country rock rap they should go for it
For real...u should check out a remake of a waylon Jennings song ," Outlaw Sh!t" by his grandson struggle Jennings and yelawolf! Also song called "Tennessee Love" let me know what u think!
yep... its art... have fun with it.
Rap has always been territorial. When it comes down to it, for some people it’s about culture. Which is unfortunate but is just simply the case. Which is why a lot of people despise rappers moving genres. In my opinion though, music should always be about ART and come from the heart.
@@FullyLoaded_808 yup...I make music from my heart, some country some rap, it's all based on my influences and feelings at the time...TH-cam pulled one of my best songs I gotta rewrite
I love both Post Malone and Jelly Roll!
Don’t never change Jelly
I’m glad he’s following his heart but I really hope he keeps making different types of music his versatility has always been my favorite thing about him. I’ve been a big fan since like 2015 glad to see how far he’s come
I can't wait to hear his country album 💜
I have to admit, i thought Post Malone was a no-talent "autotune " singer, but after his covering Nirvana during Covid, the DUDE is talented and a great country singer after his country covers he did and seems like a super humble down to earth dude...
Can really tell in recent years how close the twang in a country song is to the slang in a hip hop song. It's all theater, but that means every time a southern person speaks they're putting on a little show
Jelly Roll, Thanks for your kind words about Posty!!!
Post is just a dude livin. Why would anyone even want to find a reason to hate?
Does anyone know where Jelly's interview with Detroit need anchor Devin Scillian? They talked about it on the 11pm news, but I missed it. I wanna see it.
I like Post Malone! He should be given a chance at least, let the music speak for itself ❤😊
lol he doesn’t need to be given a chance, he is already highly regarded and respected by major artists across all genres
I’d listen to Post instead of Beyonce.
Love Austin I grew up with him here in Texas. I went to Euless Trinity he went to Grapevine. We had the same friend circle. Such a genuine dude.
LD Bell here
I've been asking for a posty country album since the Sturgis and paisley covers. I'm so elated to hear there is an album in the works
Post is incredibly awesome ❤
In the end they all go country. Its a good thing in my book. I was born a metal fan and i still like metal music. Now im been big on country music lately as i have gotten older. 😏👍
Great job
The fact that Post Malone is talented is crucial critically acclaimed crystal clear.
I’m absolutely gobsmacked at his ability to make such top music that’s the pinnacle of mastery, splendor and creativity. Absolutely brilliant. Exquisite work!
Excellence is not a skill, it's an attitude! Your sacrifices don't go unnoticed. Eleanor Roosevelt: "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." an investment in knowledge always pays the best interest
GREATNESS.
I'm looking forward to hearing post new album
Good stuff keep up
The good work🧙♀️
first time watching your videos and this was a great video and very informative.
Love Posty! Post Malone and Hi Jackson and The Country Club are both from Dallas and releasing fantastic country albums this year! Loving 2024!
Post is from Grapevine, TX... we KNOW our REAL Texas Country here....
CBCS.
Grew up in Grapevine, moved down to Klein (Spring/Tomball) in ‘72. Sorry dude Grapevine isn’t country. Name a “country oriented” night sop in Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake…..
@@michaeldubyalol it appears country on the surface, but the people are just the same as every other North DFW suburb
I used to live in Granger where all my dad’s side is from.
Grapevine isn't a flex when it comes to country music. What's country about the suburbs? Not dogging Posty! He's a phenomenal musician and is Texan in his heart I truly believe it. I hope he succeeds to the highest level. So, nothing at all bad to say about the man! Your comment Stone Cold? Well, that dog don't hunt, baby!
Where music is now is quite amazing!
Post is AWESOME‼️‼️‼️
A banger is a banger, doesn't matter if it's a one-off or not.
I would love to hear a rap song feat vise versa them and or a country music and even a duet country song that would be so amazing
Jelly roll and posty yes need to collab
Both are very talented.they can sing anything.
that thumbnail was how i felt being the shortest boy in the fam groin up
The bookshelf curtains are kind of cool 😂
The song with Morgan Wallen is actually called “I Had Some Help”
Jelly could work with anybody he is just that kind of guy I just love him and I love Post and love what he did with Eminem
Do u like Yelawolf and struggle Jennings? Omg yelawolf did a great rock album with shooter Jennings called Sometimes Y,...beautiful song called rock and roll baby...
I love both Jelly Roll and Post Malone!! They should sing something together
Post and Jelly are Gems.
Fire and rain is AMAZING!!!!!
Your ingenious Distinctive style is with the highest quality as a musician being the teacherly force of one of a kind albums, is the indispensable member. I remember old jelly roll videos of him rap free styling. Way back
you need more air filters and wind dampeners. I can still hear the wind in the background, along with the AC.
Post can do whatever, he's good at being a genuine awsome human being ✌️💚. my 13 year old daughter was right about him 11 years ago, he's fuckin awsome!!
Posty is a real down home humble man..hes a good guy takes time for his hans and i really think this country album will be amazing.Just be yourself Posty your such a sweetheart.❤
Love Post Malone country!! ❤️
Posty and Jelly are both genuine and can sing anything.
He sounds great as a country artist
When you’re good you’re good and the truth is that the industry has always gravitated towards artists that are unique and truly stand out because people are curious and curiosity sells albums and tickets
I'm not even a fan of that style of music, but I am definitely a fan of Post Malone the man. He comes across as a really good dude. Down to earth with no bloated ego like most music stars today.
i like how jelly is callin out tim mcgraw GO GET 'EM JELLY
Post sang country since high school
ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT❤❤❤❤
Post Malone is so underrated.
Post is more than a genre, dude just loves music and thats why everybody likes him so much, hes authentic in everything he does and people respect it.
been saying this for years that post malone tricked the world by being hip hop rnb but was really a country singer. if you strip the beats off of his first album, he sings country if you change the tempo 😂😂😂😂
Jelly Roll? He is what Eisenhower would call "The Jelly Industrial Complex." Dude is ALL the jelly. He dwarfs the dude interviewing him. I'm not even talking about his weight. Dude is a big boy either way. Love you, Roll!!!
Jelly Roll & Post Malone tour is needed !!! Call it "The Face Tat Tour"
😊 Go Post
I LOVE POST MALONE!
There is no one who will convince me he isn't a genuine person professionally and personally.
Yes, he hit rock bottom a few years ago, but you got the real deal of a true lovable artist who writes music from his heart.
Post Malone can do any genre and i would still listen. Cant wait for his album and ive been listening to country music all my life
Post has talent. Hard to deny quality.
Posty finally making country music sound good
Post an jelly respect all genres of music
Why would we not see the interview instead of this guy talking about what he talked about with Jelly.
Link to the interview is in the description
lol, well if you read the title you would assume that it’s a more of a narration of a video. Also, as above ^ he literally linked the original video
Posty grew up in Texas and has been wearing cowboy boots and Nudie suits for years. This can’t be a surprise.
His heart is in country because country is simple, honest, and genuine and thats him. He grew up in Texas. Hes a natural fit.
Post is gonna rock another amazing album. Can't wait!
I live in Nashville born and raised. Jelly roll is a bright shining star in the country music over all pop teeny bopper bulshit claiming to be country. Let's go post Malone and yellow. And my favorite rock band now Ronnie from falling in Reverse . ..LFG
Dixieland Delight and Paradise
I grew up in the industry. My Grandfather co-founded NSAI. Country doesn't belong to anyone. I can tell you that when he was evaluating an artist he always wanted to hear them cover "The race is on". Because of bad business dealings with Hank Williams Sr. ( not showing to sold out gigs) he couldn't stand Hank as a person but always said that if the dictionary had to use one artist to define county it would be Hank SR.
About the young girl fabulous guitar enthusiast , hopefully she will have the opportunity to learn more about music 🎵 because of the Driving forces to move or raise to a higher place or position; life’s up.,in melody 🎵 is exquisitely 🔥 lit. 🤩
Keep up the good humanitarian work with music art behind your heart and gratitude for your contribution towards music POST MALONE. Honestly the girl fan is so lucky 🍀 and we love her to be there in the spotlight in the community to share and showcase her work talent in guitar solo 🎸 with her gift 🎁 from Post Malone. I’d be honored for her to put on TH-cam while she’s here inspiring us all with music.
I LOVE ❤Post Malone 🎉
Post Malone is the most sweetest, most genuine person! So talented!
Listen to his song Feeling Whitney
Yup you gotta take that boy's country serious. He will ride bare back backwards and not fall off!
Jelly Roll & Bunny are the real deal. Luv their family too. 🫶
I was introduced to post malone with his covers of Bob Dylan so it doesn't surprise me.
That mic setup feels a little bit overkill 🤣
I'd like to think that I don't judge people, but I did judge Post by his face tattoos and he proved me so wrong that I will never make that mistake again. He is a super nice guy and has talent to spare. Kinda like Jelly Roll. But I heard tons of great stuff about Jelly before I even heard him sing. Post grew up in Texas and his roots are deep in country.
My first thought was the entire beehive gonna be out in the streets when they hear this lol.
He's the most likable celebrity in the world. There's literally not a single thing that you can hate the guy for. He's humble and a decent human being.
Still stunned every time I see Reba. She is like a fine wine that only gets better with age.
post been playing all types of music forever and is a texas dude, not surprising he went the country route at all.
Post is,by all counts, a good souled person. Genuine. Wish him nothing but the best. Good on you Jelly !
Post rocks.
Dang I thought your intro music(chord lol) was about to be the Tristram Theme for a second
Rock fans hate the one off too! But isn't it so funny how when people get to a certain level they always come "home" to either Rock or Country? I don't see it as any coincidence!
If Jelly and Post collab they should call the album or song Nice guys finish first
