I honestly think they were both fighting. 2 things can be true. I think he may have (started) it...., he literally admitted to picking her up & putting her in the car. So I think thats what the DA is focusing on. I think once they got in the car, it escalated & she was fighting him & he tried to run.
I think the reason the DA has not dropped this is because (JMajors lawyers says they have video that she was hitting him). So guess who has video of him (pusing/picking her up, putting her in the car).

Van had a point but still contradicted himself... With Travis Rudolph, his accusers name wasn't dragged through the mud until the trial and the evidence got revealed... There is a lot of support for women who make accusations even when there isn't evidence. So it's not that 'arduous' a deal for them to come out because they get support, paid for interviews, and their accuser gets cancelled even before evidence is introduced. So although he's right that most accusations may be true, Vlad was right that when other factors get introduced such as money and fame, the likelihood of false accusations increase as there as often more support for them.

I hate when people judge an incident or a case on face value without waiting for the law to take its cause. This affects jury judgement especially for high profile cases. Look at the mcgegor situation. Everybody was outraged until videos surfaced that the accuser followed him to the bathroom. The court of public opinion has no context especially in the age of social media. I think Jonathan Majors will be dropped

Men like to whine and cry when other famous men get caught, but what you are not factoring in is how many famous men do not get accused at all. In fact most famous men never end up in court with a woman saying that she sexually assaulted them. If it were that easy of a grab, then all of these men would be in court all of the time paying women.
For example, you have never heard sexual assault claims made against Denzel Washington, Steph Curry, LeBron James, Tom Hanks, Chris Pine, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Chris Evans, Jason Sudeikis, Tom Holland, Steven Spielberg, Warren Buffett, etc. etc. etc. and the reason is likely because they have never sexually assaulted a woman.
Men like you like to go around thinking that women are these vampires waiting to suck the life out of people, and you're not understanding that sexual assault is different than having sexual affairs on your wife or your girlfriend. All you hear is the word "sex," and you think people are demonizing the fact that they had sex. No, it's the fact that they sexually assaulted a woman and forced themselves upon her against her will or touched or grabbed her in ways that were inappropriate while demanding that she do certain things to advance in her career or in your personal circle.
I'm not saying that all these famous men that I just named are squeaky clean people who stayed 100% faithful to their wives and girlfriends, but if they did step out on them, it is highly likely that they did not assault women, or at some point by now, at least one of the women would have come out in public and said that they did so and tried to take them to court over it.
A prime example of this is Bill Cosby. Back in the day when Bill Cosby was drugging and raping women, women did not have any power or voice to stand up to someone that powerful. Nowadays, it is a little bit better because of the Me Too movement, so they are finally able to speak out.
Generally, if you sexually assault enough women, all of them won't come out and speak, but at least one will eventually come out and speak, and that's what you're seeing now.

Then the court of public opinion found him guilty until proven innocent, way before appearing before a court of his peers, however the newfound camera footage from the streets to the police should've had exonerated him, but alas the damage was already done.

Both are actually correct. It's really and truly a slippery slope. I will say this. When it comes to the accusers they usually are able to go back to a normal life after. Ex. 99% of people wouldn't recognize Michael Jackson's accusers if they were standing right next to them. That's the case with most accuser rather the accused gets found guilty or not guilty. Even if the accused get founded not guilty we still will remember the accusation and almost NEVER the person that actually accused them once everything is over

I see what Van is saying, however, I disagree. Van is saying that by paying the "victims" a settlement, the optics change based on something being gifted to them to "keep them quiet" and given the historical aspect of abuse of women by men, it inadvertently makes them look guilty and "brands" them as an abuser. I get it, but you can’t unsee the trends. Bill Cosby is one man who abused possibly a few women but 54+ women coming forward? Statistically speaking, I’m sure someone lied somewhere along the way. Same with R Kelly (even though he guilty af).
But what makes Johnathan Majors’s situation different is we have seen this in real time. All other accusations are from years ago and JM’s situation happened this year. At some point, Van should explore the other side of his argument; how many women have come forward in the wake of one woman’s allegation for a paycheck to perpetuate the very "branding" he spoke of. That is just as real as the abuse. AND even if caught in a lie, nothing will happen to those women even though something should. They should be arrested and criminally charged. I think in the next 5 years, we’ll see more men pressing charges for false allegations, because if you look at JM’s case and the reports associated with his allegations, this woman is CLEARLY lying.

He separated himself she went clubbing he goes back to his place and finds her half naked bloody with sleeping pills so he called the police.
