Thanks to MIKE for joining me! Do comment if you wanna see more of MIKE reacting to music with me! & COMMENT any music video's or live video's OLD or NEW we should react to next
Thanks for your reaction! 😊 Yes, from Sweden and they are as happy and joyful when you see them live!
Oh I have to I mean have to see them live soon! I am so late to the dirty loops party! How are you btw! Thanks for dropping a comment! 🙏🏼
Next song by DL: “work shit out”. Amazing drum solo at the end!
Oh YES maybe il get a drummer pal of mine to come help me REACT to that one :)
Thanks for suggestion
What a band. & you n Mike have wicked chemistry! Great vid!
They kinda started out on TH-cam with insane covers of well known pop songs (Justin Bieber and others). And I would love to see you react to even they're oldest stuff (around 2011).
Ayyy maybe il do a deep dive on the early stuff for sure. Also appreciate you commenting! Whats your fave track overal of theirs?
@@JHustl3 well, that's actually a very hard question 🤔, considering they are so diverse... and also me, myself being diverse 😅. I love it all.
"Work Shit Out" is an intense song, where they really do what the title amplifies.
Yeah bring Mike along with you. Such good energy between you. 👍
Mike will deffo be back in some videos soon :)
They are absolutely mental! Check out Hit me, Work shit out, Next to you.
Think work sh*t out is next on my list for these guys! You seen them live ever? Cheers for dropping a comment!
@@JHustl3I will in March! Can’t wait to see them.
You like Cory Wong - they did 3 collabs. Start with Follow the Light (Dirty Loops wrote it) and you'll see a wicked, wicked bass solo by Henrik. Henrik commented in an interview that Aaron (drummer) writes a lot of his bass lines, AND they've been playing together since middle school, so that's the goodness you're hearing when the bass and drum lines intersect so seamlessly...
Oh you can so hear that it’s years and years played together it was that or they were session before hand but makes way more sense they went school and playing for years! I’m going down a dirty loops Cory rabbit hole next! Thanks so much for commenting btw! Hi and hope your well! 🥰🫶🏻
3+...
My favorite band. Always tight as hell and ready to blow you away with their musicality and awesomeness! If you want to react to some of their earlier stuff how about checking out their cover of Avicii's "Wake me up" or their own original song "Accidentally in love" for a great Stevie Wonder vibe (in their own Dirty Loops maner of cause)! And they are also amazing live by the way!
I need to see them live it seems & gonna check out the covers people have said this is what got them out there originally! Also thanks for watching & commenting means a lot! 🙏🏼
Welcome to Dirty Loops. Go down the rabbit hole. You won't be disappointed.
That was one hell of a funny video ;)
Dirty Loops, what do you even say to them? 🔥🤯💥
Quincy said of Jonah:”…he’s got soul, and one of the biggest vocal ranges I’ve heard.”
I take it that the brass section on this track came from Sweden or so.
Cory Wong and his mad band of horns (some of whom formerly worked with Prince, etc) came into the picture a bit later, I guess.
Their collaborations are complete fire too.
I’d love for you both to check out/react to Dirty Loops’ tune “Work Shit Out”, as well as to everything else they’ve ever done ;)
They’re just so good…
And then there is Jonah’s solo album… and Henrik’s prog/rock/jazz/fusion side projects…
Aron, the drummer btw co-writes a lot of their stuff, including some of Henrik’s mad bass lines…
And yeah, they used to be session musicians before becoming Dirty Loops :)
Cheers 👍
Thanks for your kind comment & yeah dirty loops blew and blow our minds il get Mike back to do work sh*t out as a few people have asked!
And yeah must of got muddled about the horns when they did the follow the light and thriller cover collab wasn’t it!? But yeah either way the horns in rock you are insane!
Have you seen DL live yet!? I deffo need to! I’m hooked!
@@JHustl3 thanks for your response ☺️👍 and I wishhh I’d seen them live, but no, not yet. Definitely on the bucket list!!
And honestly I cannot wait for you guys to do Work Shit Out 🔥🔥🔥
Dirty Loops are 3 friends who attended The Stockholm Royal Academy of Music together. Henrik Linder Bass Guitar, Jonah Nilsson Keyboards Vocals, Aron Mellergård Acoustic Drums and managed by Quincy Jones. Aron does all the arrangements and writing, Jonah does all the vocals. Check out “THRILLER” next with Cory Wong th-cam.com/video/m34byl2BT1o/w-d-xo.html
Ayyyy thanks so much for this, since read up on them thankss to all your comments, such an interesting story, and yes i wanna check out and react to thriller next i reckon! thanks for comenting means alot! you seen them live yet?
Sync head bop activated 😂❤
It was the lip biting that got me!
I believe that actually David Foster got the tip to look them up on TH-cam. Earlier (around 2011 I think), they did crazy good covers of popular hit songs. Eventually it became a "battle" between Foster and Quincy. Foster took them on his tour, but later they ended up in Q:s management. Seems kinda logical, considering the music style they have. Don't forget to react to the early stuff with covers to.
So appreciate all the extra info you guys have provided. Actually have such a complex come up story, i deffo wanna react to some of the early covers that gathered this attention for them!
Music composer and manager Andreas Carlsson "discovered" them. Their first tour abroad was managed by David Foster and a couple of years later they joined Quincy Jones' team.
I watched them on their first European tour, exactly ten years ago, when they played in the north of Sweden. Since then they have developed a lot on stage. Still being the same great and creative musicians. 🎶🎹🎸🎤
More please
Oh what would you like to see / hear do let me know :)
Nice reaction 😅👍🏻. Always funny to see musicians reacting and hearing DLs for the first time 🎶🫶🏻
Comment coming at ya from a Brit now living in QJ’s home town of Bremerton, WA (well…4 miles south of it). Dirty Loops rocks and Aron Mellergård is awesome on the skins. Which one of you was approved by QJ btw? That’s high praise!
Fantastic reaction and I think Quincy did kind of stumbler upon their TH-cam videos. They started like 10 years ago doing covers on TH-cam. It's hardly fair calling them covers as they quite literally make the songs theirs. Best I recall the three of them all met in Swedish Royal Academy of Music (?) 20 or so years ago so they do really know each other. Great job on this one.
I love the editing very simple and effective
Thanks appreciate this so much 🫶🏻
If you happen to mean the editing of the music video, then note that Aron, the drummer, do all video editing for Dirty Loops.
Bring Mike back and react to Follow The Light please. You guys were great together.
Noted we deffo will get Mike back on! & follow the light 💡 it’s on the to react to list! Thanks so much for commenting & watching 🙏🏼
Yes, they walked the streets of Stockholm here like ordinary guys a couple a years ago. Quincy have lived here earlier in life. Sweden is the best place❤
Love "future editing joe" 🤣👍!
I'll let my fellow Dirty Loops super fans deliver the info and just say thank you for the laughs.
I'd love to see more DL reactions from you.
Cheers!
Hahaha future editing Joe hates it when we try and impersonate MJ hahaha and thanks for the kind words and even commenting means a lot! More dirty loops reactions soon!
Lovely reaction, DL are …. ❤
Ay thank you we had a lot of fun checking these out! DL are 2 good! Gotta see them live! Have you seen them live!? Thanks for commenting btw! 🙏🏼
That was fun!
So nice to see someone experiencing DL for the first time, and having the knowledge and ear to immediately hear the intricacies, the joyfulness, the quality. I find it very impressive (cause I suck at it), and it makes me happy! It would be a delight if you would react to some more Dirty Loops songs. Work shit out and Follow the light will do just fine, and if you haven't had the audio-visual experience (in a fun and slightly crazy way) of Run Away (released days ago), you will probably thank yourself if you go for it.
Rock you. Um, ask dem what the original song was. Wot?
🔥🥰🔥
Ayyy thanks for dropping a comment! 🙏🏼
@@JHustl3 ❤
You really need to not cover up most of the video. This was my first time with you. To bad Probably the last.
Dave I totally get it and I agree with your comment tbh it’s that unfortunate thing where if I show the whole video it gets blocked 🚫 so I always link the original video for you to watch in the description of video and I try and give my thought and opinions while cutting the video up interestingly but totally hear your critism and feedback! 🫶🏻
@@JHustl3I know but you can minimize your part.
Get a shave and buy some mic stands!
Do you mean a shure mic or do you actually mean I should shave j respect both criticisms to be fair
Not to say that Daniel's idea is bad, but I'd rather you prioritize some more DL reactions. I'm not into tidy, orderly, neat and well organized , though, so don't trust my judgement.
No a QJ band and not the first video... do your research
What do you mean by not a QJ band? Check the credits (at the very end).
Actually they blew up on the internet. They weren't really "found" so much as made themselves impossible not to notice. They were all students at the royal academy and part time session players. They got together originally just to have fun playing what they liked , posted some of it on the internet and the rest is history. My favorite piece by them is "work shit out" but check out this old totally instrumental jam....
th-cam.com/video/aYYFmp9NBTk/w-d-xo.html
Oh wow that old jam is ace and defoo gonna react to work sh(t out soon :) Thanks so much for the additional info on the boys!
