When we went to Hawaii, there was a Lappert’s close to our hotel. All we can say is that it blew us away and that their try it all option (five scoops of ice cream in a waffle bowl) is an absolute steal. I cannot stretch how much I love this place!
I was just in Alaska, you need to try wild scoops. It might not be the best ice cream but they had some of the best/most unique flavors I’ve ever seen. If you do go there, I would highly recommend the spruce tip ice cream.
I’ve been there they do have unique flavors but it’s a shame cause they change them all the time so you won’t be able to try the full variety of flavors they offer throughout the year.
I’m from Hawaii and I’m glad that you enjoyed visiting us. If you ever can make it back to the island of Oahu, make it out to the Windward side to Waihole Point Factory. They make a dessert with ice cream called the Sweet Lady. The place is a bit run down looking and very far away from any major cities, but worth the drive out there in my opinion.
