I’m from Detroit and I was wondering where were all the singers. Detroit has some singers that would have come out and sang all those songs.

Jonathan put those video presentations together….we had way more songs to do but 9pm was the cutoff time which was not enough time for all the songs we had so Jonathan had to cut BUT I think we could’ve gotten to changed if the praise breaks didn’t take up the time…

@@TheSaintJamesShow oh you’re good!! Man it was so much happening behind the scenes, neither I or Terry were MD…but I will say Jonathan practically had to pull a rabbit out of his hat to try and make this event what it was…but no offense taken at all 💪🏾 choir sounded great

Marcel is not a choir member or musician so 🤷🏽
Marcel usually asks me to participate every year. The main choir director that used to be over the choir is no longer participating. Every year, he puts more tasks on us as directors so I was like yo, when we going to make $$ from this. We’ve been having your back for years, even when some of these ppl right in your city wants nothing to do with you. At first he acted as if it was no problem to compensate us. Then It got back to me that he felt as if I wasn’t that “caliber of an artists” to be paid since I was traveling alone and not with my choir. 😂 So I was like “oh ok, got it.” I asked him about it and of course he denied it. I felt like he stabbed me in my back, but then again maybe it was just God’s timing. My latest album is doing well and he’s yet to put out ONE. Marcel really doesn’t know what it takes MUSICALLY to pull things like this together. He just knows the artists and the songs which is why some of his concerts just have random ppl in there. More than likely, he was probably pulling teeth to get everything together. Thankfully for Mr. Grier who I’m sure was the backbone to make it successful.

When you are not musical, you really don’t have the capacity to put on musical events. Marcel is not a singer or musician.
