Couple of things - love your videos first of all. Second, squat champs cant take shooting skills - its not their primary skillset. Second, the ironhead flamer on the brute has firestorm so rapid fire on the closest model - should have been three hits!
No problem, you do great work with the videos! There are so many rules for munda but you do a superb job managing to remember them! @@MiniatureGameMontage
Great battle report, awesome to see the Squats on the table! Also the Squat flamers have a rule called Firestorm that applies the amount of hits on the rapid fire dice to the closest target in the flame template.
Yay another report. Yeah that squat gang is brutal, especially when the scenario balances the numbers for them! I've played that scenario a few times, it is lots of fun but faaaar too easy to draw as basically any offensive action is likely to start breaking hivers. I've found that change it it to just hivers that are out of action at the end works as a good balance (rather than OOA AND broken), especially if you're putting them deliberately in the way!
I love how you resolved to avoid an auto-draw at the end! I could hear Ennio Morricone in the background and the two walked towards each other! It also makes me happy any time Corpse Grinders get ground into corpses :P
I've been letting these build up for a while but I am reallt excited to catch up: these are the best battle reports/campaign playthroughs I've ever seen :)
I have a really simple rule for dealing with scenarios with endings that lean into draws. If your gang fled due to the dice, (bottled out on their own) then we allow that team to be a contender for ties or even victory depending on the scenario. If a player voluntarily flees, that's it, they lose. Theres some scenarios where someone can score one point and flee and technically win. That's way too gamey so i always state that you can't win if you quit.
Ah yes my first Necromunda campaign just started yesterday your videos was one of the reason i started with necromunda allways happy to see a new battle report and get inspired again. Thanks for all the work!
Great battle report can't wait for the next one I would say if you play the scenario again and don't want the civilians ending it early just have it so if enough of them bottle a local enforcer gang shows up to defend them.
Haha. Those RapidFire(2) Ironhead Autoguns are so fun. But too often you role 3+ hits on a 3 with Gangers. Hence: buying a telescopic sight for at least one of your Squat Gangers is always a good idea. Also having a cheap autogun + telescopic sight on your champ, combined with a more powerful weapon, is a good idea. Champs do have a bs 3. So with the telescopic sight you got the 2+ for the 24 inches long range. And believe me, it's worth it.
Great stuff, I always enjoy seeing the Corpse Grinders on the field. Funny who the MVP turned out to be given the deployment (that's all I'm gonna say) 😂
As expected, the Dwarves packed a punch! Did not expect them to outfight the Butcher in the final fight though! Do you have any plans to add the Mining Laser to the crew, now that the model is available? On paper, it looks insane! I say it everytime, but the board was ace, a very nice hybrid setup.

@@reivax3911 they all have an XP system but Necromunda is very deep. Warcry and Kill Team don’t scratch the surface of Necromunda campaign depth. That said, they are a good place to start for a light and simplified version of a campaign
Heavy Flamer on Brute has rule similar to rapid fire (Firestorm) so shud be 3 hits on the Butcher. Prospectors make tons of hits any time, but poor ammo stats often jam their weapons.
@@MiniatureGameMontage One more, Prospector champions cannot have shoting skills on start, this is secondary for them. And this limits them more, because can have brawn with poor combat or his own tree who is mostly out of combat abilities

The mechanics of this game are exactly what playing Gorkamorka has except there are lots of kitbash trills, bikes and whatever you want, still a fantastic game and highly recommended. Playing out the draw was exactly the correct choice especially since it is only a game and not diplomacy.
