as a pgr player I never doubted that he would be free, for those who don't know is normal for kuro and I LOVE IT

@@Icon1306 it's very normal for PGR players, since in PGR kuro already gave 3 five star characters for free, plus you can get all the new 5 star characters there for free (if you do ur dailies+weeklies+monthly)

The hoverdroid is the utility that will never get off of my screen when doing puzzles. Wuwa is will always be a chad when adding some QOL stuff as part of the game and not paywalling these kind of stuff on a characters kit.
I didn't expect they have made it like a freakin pod. I thought it would be just a pistol.
This way characters don't need an animation for holding it 😂

Should be free since, most players that played for a long time basically 100% everything or almost.
I'm actually most excited for the lock on camera changes. I HATED using the lock on feature because not only did it not actually follow then target, it also completely prevented you from controlling the camera manually, meaning that if the enemy runs behind you or something you just wont be able to see it and it'll beat your ass from off screen until you remove the lock on and turn the camera yourself to face it, making it completely useless and an active detriment. The only use the lock on has is that it ensures Mortefi's liberation actually hits the target because sometimes it'll just fly in the air and hit nothing for no reason

IMO the Echo mechanic is already a Nier Automata reference of using Pod Skill but overshadowed with Pokemon
I still hype for the shooting tools and hopefully Kuro give some update/revamp to Gunners aiming mode and make them shine as Ranger
It reminds me more of the Soul Core mechanic from Nioh 2 with the summoning or transforming.
Version 1.2 might not be "cooming" but I certainly am COOMING NOW!

Since playing PGR I wasn't surprised they took out something like the cannon from the nier but didn't expect them to change xiangli's clothes a bit 😂
the pod thing is cool but they should buff the gunner characters. change their hold atk from aiming to quick charge shot. Lee palefire/matrix yellow orb can be a decent reference for hold atk.
big W for kuro for making the pod. Been playing for genshin for years and never realize such a cool feature can be implement in this kind of game.
We'll probably get a Nier collab on wuwa as well, like in the past with pgr 😊

Depths of Illusive Realm is a lot of fun. The moment my Yinlin turns into pure terror for the bosses makes all the struggles we had outside of the realm absoluutly worth it !

@@thewanderingartists Can't say i didn't have fun playing her ones for the rewards. But she became unkillable and i poked the bosses too death with basic attacks and shield reflect dmg.

Might be too late to add this as a feature but i really thought that wuwa would also have the ascension coatings from pgr, where the original design had a modified and final version whenever you reach milestones in character upgrades.

i also hope they introduce a version of 'leap' skills from pgr to wuwa aswell to make the old characters in the future still viable
The resonator pull animation show case is cool. I can finally see Yinlin and Changli pull animation again anytime I want 🥰 it's too good to only see it 1 time 😅

yes, I love the stored waveplate! I play HSR so having roll over is great. I can't constantly be online but I will definitely continue to give my support.

I really wish there would be a major UI overhaul or at least some more improvements towards that regard in the next patch.
PGR has received consistent UI overhauls and updates over the years so I imagine we'll see stuff like that with WuWa too. I think the Convene feature they showed off here might just be the beginning of that.

I'm so excited for future features of the Hoverdroid. Imagine if they could be used to propel us forward up in the air. Or just something as simple as auto mining. It's most likely gonna features for future explorations rather than gimicky things, but regardless, having our version of POD is so cool. 😭

So good to see Kuro actually develop this game. Its such a breath of fresh air after transitioning over from genshin.
I feel like Kuro Games have the right idea about gacha games.
We all know that at the end of the day they obviously want players to spend real money in hopes of getting the characters and weapons they want, but unlike some other developers, they also understand that that doesn't mean you can't keep improving the gameplay experience. The fact that they're listening to the community and are already making some serious QoL improvements although the game basically just released says a lot about them as a developer. I'm not a fan of the whole gacha concept (at least when it comes to spending real money), but when everything else is handled so well and the game just keeps getting better and better, I actually wouldn't mind coughing up some cash every now and then.
Honestly, it feels like we've already seen more improvements in Wuthering Waves than we've seen in Genshin during its entire four year lifespan.

I hear that Dawntrail dungeon music, let's gooooo, such a banger! Anyhow, shooter utility + more points for using 180 waveplates + waveplate storage + FREE XIANGLI YAAAOOOOO = elation. QoLs are always nice. I get to save resources for the entire patch, possibly longer if Shorekeeper isn't a healer like I hope she is. All I "need" now is more decent story and something to be done about echo exp and waveplate costs. Thank you, Kuro.
