Today women don't even look or smile anymore on their cell phones 24/7 on dating apps for hookups. No wonder why men have given up!
I'm in the exact same spot. When I get world weary, I work on something just for me, like a private project. Life can be lonely and events can be disappointing, but there's always new joys around the corner🥰
Also, I thought things wouldn't work out for me for a solid 3-4 years, and now things have taken a good turn, and I'm reaching the end of certain cycles. I'm glad I didn't throw in the towel on my dreams.
As you said, it's not necessarily about reading one book, but you absolutely should read the bhagavad gita. It applies to you and your conflict profoundly.
